Depending on availability, you may select from this room or two other bedrooms. Here's a description of the other rooms:
Description for Master bedroom 1: Nicely furnished with a queen bed, armoire, TV, mini-fridge, microwave, desk, and has its own nice bathroom with a shower. Although we have cats, they do not come into this room so it's good for allergy sufferers.
The Travel Queen bedroom: We have a really nicely furnished bedroom with a shared hall bath . Totally furnished - queen bed, linens, TV, and has a desk. It has its own access to the pool via French doors. This room also has a mini fridge and microwave. Decorated with a travel theme. We have cats, but they do not go in this room, so for allergy sufferers, it is fine
Master bedroom 2: This is the bedroom we occupy. Just remodeled to include its own beautiful bath. It has a king size bed, and TV. Exterior French door opens onto an atrium. Cats do go in this room, so it is not good for allergy sufferers.
The back yard pool is situated in a very tropical setting. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is plenty of street parking available. Wood floors throughout. This is a very peaceful setting and a good place to get away from the hubbub.
We are located central to everything - 5 minutes by car to all activities: downtown, close to freeways 163, 8 and 5. Our location is 163 and Genesee - next to Sharp Hospital (walking distance), Rady Children's Hospital (walking distance), close to Mesa College, Fashion Valley Mall and Mission Valley Mall (one exit away), 5 miles to the beach (we bike to there occasionally), USD and other colleges and to the San Diego airport and Montgomery Field.
Our home is a 15 minute walk to the bus line. For some destinations you will have to take a few buses. This is a better location by car unless you’re young and love to hike. There are no restaurants or shopping within walking distance, however we do give rides when we can.
This is a smoke free, drug free, and drama free home. We are well traveled and understand the needs of a traveler. We are friendly but can leave you to your privacy. You truly will find this an escape, an awesome place to kick back, or be close to the action down town.

This was my first use of AirBnb, and Pamela was an excellent introduction. She was quietly welcoming, and made us feel at home. Her house lives up to the pictures. Also, she paid a great deal of attention to details, to make the stay pleasant.
If you're staying in San Diego, Pamela's place is a very good choice.
The home was beautiful and comfortable, just like the pictures! Neil was a gracious host. Would definitely recommend!
I had a great stay. The house and neighborhood were very nice. Great instructions were given on how to enjoy my stay.
My son and I enjoyed staying with Pamela and her husband. It a very quiet area in the center of San Diego, convenient to everything. The house is gorgeous!
Peaceful, comfortable, good location, very friendly hosts, just what I was looking for. Will be happy to come back.
Pamela and Neil were wonderful warm generous hosts, starting with coming to pick me up at the airport late at night. The twin bed room was cozy, just big enough for two of us. In warmer weather we would have gladly enjoyed the pool to which we had french door access from our room. Pamela let us make full use of the kitchen. We had great conversations but plenty of privacy. Highly recommended.
Pam and her husband are very gracious hosts. They provided me rides to the airport and the conference I attended. The twin beds are very comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.
My partner and I stayed with Pamela while in town for a weekend conference. We had a lovely time. The home was very clean and quiet, and we felt welcomed by Pamela (and her daughter) while there. My partner worked some afternoons at their kitchen table, and said the experience was great. The living room opens out one to a beautiful pool and serene backyard. The bed was extremely comfortable (I believe there was a pillow top on the mattress - heavenly), and the room came with its own fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom was equipped with shampoo and soap dispensers, and clean towels, making the stay very similar to what we would receive in a hotel.
Finally, on the last day in town, I fell ill, and Pamela graciously extended our stay without any hassle.
HIGHLY recommend this place. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the San Diego area again.
They braught us eben to THe AirPort , very nice !
Pamela was a great host. I stayed in the bedroom with the twin beds and had more than I needed. Both Pamela and her husband are wonderful people and even invited me to dinner with her friends and family.
The place itself is quite nice. It is very spacious and within the last month (9/13) has had a lot of renovation done so it feels like staying in a brand new house. The pool area in the backyard is quite pleasant, great for sitting outside in the evening as the sun sets (west facing) and looking at the chicken (yep!) do their thing.
In a decent neighborhood and located wonderfully close to both San Diego and La Jolla (1 exit away from fashion valley mall). Overall, great place to stay regardless of your situation, whether you are visiting San Diego and want to be somewhere central or are in-between moves and looking for a relaxing stay.
