Other Things to Note
The house is dog friendly but we would like to have them sleep outside
as if they were in their own home
This was a super clean, very spacious house in beautiful country. Lovely hosts. The pictures are acurate and it is wonderful for exploring the Dingle Peninsula and ring of Kerry. The pub next door had excellent food. The coins for power and gas were not needed by us, I guess only if you use a lot.
Beautiful house in a perfect location. Unfortunately, we weren't aware that electricity and heating work with coin meters. Would have been nice to know in advance. The shower's water pressure could do with an improvement. Ideal spot for Caurrantoohil and Inch beach.
logement très bien équipé , très agréable, nous étions 4 mais sans soucis pour 6 personnes , régions magnifique et bon emplacement pour visiter le sud ouest de l'Irlande
Calm and quiet, Very peaceful environment and cozy house.
Key pickup was simple, Mary runs a B&B nearby (Murphy's Farmhouse), so we met there and got the keys. The house is cosy, comfy, and *spotless*. Mary had some lovely little cupcakes waiting for us in the kitchen, and some milk for tea in the refrigerator, as well as a highchair and playpen/cot for the little one; a nice touch.
I – as a Canadian, unused to such things – needed some instruction on how to operate the coin-fed boiler and electric hookup, but after a quick call to Murphy's Farmhouse, Mary sent a relative of hers over, and he patiently explained everything to me.
The Inch (beach) is a short drive away and is absolutely stunning.
We absolutely loved our (too-short) stay!
It 's a real cosy house , clean with all the comfort you need.
A good place to explore the Ring of Kerry.
