Raven Ridge Retreat sits amidst our Granny Smith & Gala Apple Trees at Showalter's Orchard, home of Old Hill Cidery. This light-filled, recently-constructed cottage highlights extraordinary views of The Massanutten and the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Shenandoah Valley, rows and rows of apple trees, and abundant wildlife. This two-story, romantic farm stay is base for all your area adventures like hiking in Shenandoah National Park or exploring The Shenandoah Spirits Trail.

The space
The cottage is light and airy, with clerestory windows and a front porch that is exceptionally suited to take in breathtaking mountains and the valley. From your bedroom aerie, you'll wake to unobstructed views of spectacular sunrises without even rising from your king-sized bed.
Just a few steps from the doorstep, you'll be strolling through the orchard. Enjoy exploring rows and rows of trees. During apple and peach harvest seasons, we offer "u-pick" fruit.
The kitchen is ready with everything you need, including an apple and peach pie recipe made with fruit from our farm.
This peaceful and private place is also perfect for relaxing, rejuvenating, and watching your favorite smart-tv programming or taking advantage of all its natural light to read to your heart's content.
Are you working remotely? The wifi speed is sufficient for virtual meetings and internet communication.
We invite you to sit on the front porch and watch the abundant wildlife pass by too. We typically see whitetail deer, rabbits, and foxes.
The production facility and tasting room for Old Hill Cider is on the premises. Don't miss the opportunity to try our cider portfolio ranging from dry, wine-like ciders to fun, fruit-forward seasonals. Check our social media pages for current hours.
