Our two story house is quite different than anyplace you would find in New York City.
It is kept very well for our guests. I keep a studio apartment in the basement. You are not likely to notice.
No smoking indoors.
We think geographically! Please tell us where you are from.
We stayed in Nicholas house with our two teenagers. The place was great, right in the center of Williamsburg, steps to the subway, grocery and restaurants. Each of the kids got their own room, we found it to be quite at night and there is a nice back yard. Would definitely stay here again.
Really lovely home that I would not hesitate to stay in next time I'm in New York. My friends and I just loved it! It may not be for everyone though. It's 'old-fashioned—not remodeled in decades—very '50s-'60s-'70s—bare bones in terms of amenities and a bit dilapidated interiors, poor lighting, extremely creaky floor boards, but so spacious and equipped with all the basics. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. It was secure and safe feeling.
This home is right in the heart of Williamsburg—perfect location for great food, shopping and subway access.
I never met Nicholas in person, but he was very responsive in all our correspondence.
I would recommend this home as a great place to stay—especially if you enjoy a vintage setting!
This is a very welcoming and beautiful house. The photos do not quite do justice to how spacious and cosy the place is. The neighbourhood offers some seriously good coffe, and is very well connected to the rest of the city. Nicholas was friendly and flexible. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone.
We love this apartment! It's perfect for a family, and a great location for exploring Brooklyn or Manhattan. Thanks Nicholas!
Lovely house! The location couldn't be better! Everything was as described! It was for my family and they loved this whole new experience. They loved the jukebox, turntable, and all the objects that Nicolas placed in the house. The place is not only for staying. It could be lots of fun, experience and it makes the trip special.
Thank you so much for letting us staying in your cool place!
I wish it was not so cold so I could use the back yard.
I'd love to invite my family again in your place!
The house is great and it was very clean, perfect location and Nicholas makes things very easily.
I recommend this experience to everyone!
The jukebox is awesome!!

Our family of five spent 10 great years in this house, We moved some distance away a couple years ago.
I come in for film & radio production work occasionally and stay in the basement and/or back house.
Our neighbors down the street take care of the house.
The home has a lot of our life in it still, and our kids were born there.
It's a keeper.
