I consider myself lucky to live in such a beautiful city as Lyon!
One of my favourite passtime is chilling out with friends at a café terrace where we can appreciate a nice glass of wine.
The flat/apartment is in a 16th century Renaissance building with a traboule, a word typically of Lyon.
Your bedroom contains a double bed of (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) in × 75 in). If two people think of feeling at ease there, I can welcome them with no problem at all.
The bathroom is shared, but the rest room/toilet are separated from the bathroom.
Breakfast may be served on request for an extra 6.50€/a person (hot beverage -tea, coffee, or hot chocolate-, baguette (bread), pastry (viennoiseries), homemade cake, homemade jams, local artisanal honey, orange juice, yogurt).

Lyon's old quarter has been designated a World Heritage Site.
Lyon also has a vibrant cultural calendar.
Some events hosted by the city, such as the spectacular Fête des Lumières (December) to the Nuits Sonores electronic music festival (May), rival anything France's capital can offer.
There are many bars and restaurants.
The nearest underground station is Métro Vieux Lyon-Cathédrale St Jean. I'll meet you outside the station beside the tourist info point to take you to the flat which is about 3 minute walk.
How to get to the flat?
By car: the flat is situated in a pedestrian zone in which you cannot get by car. However you could have use of my parking spot for 10€/a day (it normally costs 30 euros/24 hours).
We have to agree on your arrival time beforehand as you need my access card to the car park -Parking St Jean-situated 25 Quai Romain Rolland -69005 Lyon.
From the airport Lyon St Exupéry: take the shuttle -Rhônexpress- up to the Station Part Dieu. The ride lasts half an hour.
Ticket fares are:
One-way ticket: 12 years: free.
12-25 years: 13 €
More than 25 years: 15,7 € - Online ticket: 14,50 €
Return ticket: 12 years: free
12-25 years: 23 €
Walk across the station, situated opposite the shuttle stop, to the exit Rhône (Sortie Rhône).
Take the métro/underground/subway Line B heading to Gare d'Oullins, alight at Saxe Gambetta and change for Line D heading to Gare de Vaise, alight at Vieux Lyon.
From Gare La Part Dieu (train station), the same as above, minus the route from the airport.
From Gare de Perrache (Perrache train station):
Take the métro Line A heading to Vaulx-en-Velin - La Soie, alight at Bellecour, change for Line D heading to Gare de Vaise, alight at Vieux Lyon.

Other Things to Note
I am a host family to foreign students who travel to lyon to learn French. You are very likely to meet one of them during your stay at home.
Quelques évidences: ne pas manger dans la chambre ne pas laisser couler l'eau inutilement, éteindre les lumières lorsque vous n'êtes pas dans la chambre, baisser le chauffage lorsque vous vous absentez, prendre soin des lieux et de l'équipement. Merci!!
L'appartement est non-fumeur. Mais vous pouvez fumer sur le palier.
SVP, notez que par mesure d'hygiène, les chaussures doivent être enlevées à l'entrée; des chaussons sont à votre disposition.
Vous sortez et entrez quand vous voulez mais merci de ne pas faire de bruit après 22 heures, aussi bien dans les parties communes de l'immeuble (par respect pour le voisinage) que dans l'appartement.
