A quiet Williamsburg gem!
This is a brand new condo: clean, modern & spacious. It's on a quiet street where you can enjoy a good sleep.
And it's only ONE subway stop from Manhattan!
This apartment's environment is as cool and vibrant as the Williamsburg culture that surrounds it. Lots of handmade design elements and bright colors inside to inspire your New York adventure outside.
The apartment also features a huge, private outdoor space. A bathtub. Dishwasher (a rarity in this city). HIGH SPEED WIFI! TV with Netflix. And air conditioning, of course.
Your room has a full-size bed with a very soft mattress-topper. (Full-size is just a few inches smaller than a Queen bed). Large storage shelves & a hanging clothes bar. Two mirrors, one window and lots of charm!
Please treat this space as you would your own home. Get comfortable with a cup of tea on the sofa! But then also please put the cup in the dishwasher when you're done :-)
The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking-needs: KitchenAid mixer, microwave, pots, pans, spices, etc.
Please help yourself to coffee, tea, juice and milk.
I will provide you with clean sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and washcloths.
Interaction with Guests
I have two bedrooms listed. If you are not renting both, then there is a possibility that another guest will be sharing the space with you. I live downstairs and have a separate entrance, so we have the option to not be in each other's way. Otherwise, I'm very happy to hang out and offer suggestions & advice on how to explore THE MOST AMAZING CITY IN THE WORLD (Not that I'm biased...)
Please check out my second listing if this one is booked already: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2678354
The condo is surrounded by charming restaurants, chill cafes, and interesting boutiques.
Super conveniently located just a few blocks from two major subway stops that take you directly into Manhattan. The big city is only ONE subway stop away!
Specifically, I am 4 blocks (5 minutes) from the J/M/Z Marcy Avenue subway stop. And 10 blocks (10 minutes) from the Bedford Avenue L train.
Please just let me know in advance if you have day-guests coming by.
Ellen and Sam was really great host! They are really kind and nice with us! They made us feel at home from the first day!
I stayed in the president's suite with my boyfriend for eleven days and it was cool. The room and the whole house it was clean and tidy. The neighborhood was really cool, quite and safe. The position is perfect to visit new york is perfectly conneted with manhattan: there are three subway station in the surroundings, one of these is really close to the apartment, 5 minutes walking. We recommend to spent some day to visit Brooklyn especially Williamsburg, because is really "true" and in the night you can find a lot of restaurants, pubs and club cool and charateristich. Ultimately, the president's suite will be a really good choice!
My friend and I stayed at Ellen's place for just over 3 weeks. Ellen and Sam were a great hosts, friendly and accommodating.
Although we didn't spend much time in the apartment during evenings and in the day time, it always felt quiet and is spacious enough if sharing with any others. Also the yard was perfect for breakfast or an evening drink! We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Ellen!
This was my second time staying at Ellen Rose's apt and she is absolutely the best! The room is so nice and comfortable and in a very vibrant area of Brooklyn. I met a friend form staying there who was also staying in the house and it was lovely to be in an apartment with a deck to enjoy the wonderful weather.
I stayed at Ellen's flat for a month. The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils. Bathroom is nice and modern and you are only 5 min away from the subway. I enjoyed my stay here and Ellen made me feel at home. Will definitely recommend!
My experience with Ellen was just wonderful. Ellen's home is charming, beautifully styled and immaculately clean and tidy. From day one at Ellen's, I felt very comfortable and welcome. The apartment is located in the prime of Williamsburg with great restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and boutiques within close walking distance.... the location really doesn't get any better! The room is very quiet, and private. Ellen as a host was outstanding, she is very kind and generous, and she is always willing to help and offer her warm hospitality in any way she can. She is a beautiful person and it was so lovely chatting with her and Sam in the evenings. Even though Ellen was overseas for the first few days I arrived, she ensured that her lovely friend was there to meet me and welcome me to her home. Ellen's communication is always very prompt and reliable which was really helpful! I can't recommend Ellen as a host and her home enough.
Ellen Rose was an excellent host. It was so easy to book the flat with her, easier than a hotel even, not to mention cheaper, better and in an amazing location. It was also impeccably clean and clean towels were provided. All the apartment is cozy and comfortable with a private patio... We loved her place and we would absolutely recommend to anyone! Thanks a lot! Victor & Yasmine.
I was 8 days in NY with my girlfriend and everything went perfect. Ellen was a wondeful host! She is very thoughtful and friendly... y habla muy buen español! :-) The house is lovely and all new: great confi bed, spacious and quiet room, sunny patio... and the steam shower, that was just amazing! Ellen, thanks a lot for everything!
