Where you’ll be

Hørsholm, Denmark

Høsterkøb is a village in Rudersdal Municipality, some 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of central Copenhagen. It is bounded on the south by Rude Forest and on the north by open fields.
Its proximity to Copenhagen makes Høsterkøb a popular country retreat.

Many of the old farms and country houses still exist, some of the larger ones being Friheden, Lundegaard, Nygaard and Petersborg. The largest property in Høsterkøb is Friheden which stands on 30 hectares (74 acres) of land in the northeastern outskirts of the village.
Høsterkøb is also known for its many stables and horse folds.

43 years old, mother of two, a daughter (13 years old) and a son (11 years old). Married to their father, Robert. We live 20 min north of Copenhagen in a little historical village called Høsterkøb surrounded by forest, fields and horses and still only a short drive from the center of Copenhagen. We enjoy spending our weekends and holidays in the summer house when we aren’t away travelling. All four of us go mountain biking and there are mtb tracks starting literally at our door step. We also love sailing and my husband and son are keen kitesurfers. The harbour and beach are 5 min from our house. Or just a stone’s throw from the summer house. Professionally, I'm a medical doctor, working as a GP.
