Historic 200 year old brownstone neighborhood with cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. The Van Vorst Historic District is nestled between the Liberty Harbor Marina and the high-rise constructions of downtown.
House was clean, quiet, and cozy. Perfect place to crash after a long day in the city! Getting checked in was a breeze!
Viktoria was easy to communicate with and had clear instructions for gaining access to the building. The apartment entry and exterior are not exceptionally beautiful, but once inside you will find a nice and warm stay with plenty of room. This is a proper 2 bedroom place with another small bed in the living room for 1 more.
Location is near the PATH which is an easy train ride into the city and the neighborhood is definitely improving but still quite safe and pleasant to be in.
Viktoria was very welcoming and very responsive. She made our stay easy and comfortable. The apartment was clean and location was excellent, four blocks from the path (subway from NJ to NYC). Rooms and the apartment in general is smaller than it shows in pictures, but it had all we needed so this wasn't a problem.
Wonderful little flat in old Jersey City - functional, very clean, well organised, i loved staying there with my two and a half year old daughter - felt safe and right at home! Very near the Path to Manhattan and not fat from the boats either which will take you there too with the additional splendid views of the Financial District!
Viktoria's place was perfect for my time in NYC. She was very accommodating in providing me directions to Jersey City and answering any questions I had. Her place was very well kept and clean and was more than enough space for our group of 3. The place was beautiful and had every accommodation needed for a enjoyable stay.
You cannot beat the location if you are looking to stay near NYC but slightly outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. The location was very safe at all hours of the day and transportation to and from the city was extremely easy.
I would definitely recommend this place to others and would consider staying again.

About the Host, Viktoria
I like to provide a welcoming environment to travelers from abroad and within. In addition to standards of clean bedding, towels, and bathroom essentials including shampoos and soaps, there is an underlying theme dedicated to our global environment. There are original artworks about the environment by local artisans, an eclectic and minimalistic interior design, fresh flowers, and consumer friendly utilities.
