The bus is a great hang! There is all the things you'll need for a fun getaway in the desert
from the big deck outside to the comfortable interior

The space
This bus was manufactured by the Bluebird Bus Company in 1975.
The School District of Waukesha, Wisconsin and It Transported kids to and from school for the next 10 years.
The vehicle was sold to Captain Julian, a Mississippi Riverboat Captain in 1987. He took out all the seats and began to make the former school bus into a camper, so he and his family could enjoy camping on his time off from the riverboat. He never finished the job!
He finally sold the bus....................to Susan and I. We finished the job and named the bus ZOE.
Susan and I were also ship workers, not on the big river, but on the 7 seas. We were entertainers known as Bonnie and Slyde. We we entertained passengers on Princess Cruise ships. We actually did one of our contracts on the Original Love Boat in the Mediterranean Sea.
The bus, Zoe, was our hang between contracts. We kept her in storage when at sea, and lived in her when on land.
In October of 93 we took Zoe to the border, a place called Gringo Pass south of the Arizona town of Ajo and just north, on the US side, of a Mexican town of Sonoyta. There we set up a recording Studio in the back of Zoe, where the bed now is and produced our first CD of Susan's original music. It took about 6 months. We did a lot of camping and partying stuff along with the recording project, so it was not all work.
The Cd turned out O K but couldn't compete with many of CD's that were made in big budget studios. It still was a great experience.
We took Zoe to Puerto Penasco, Mexico for a New Years gig came back to Gringo Pass and completed the CD.
After That we took her up the West Coast to to the Seattle Area and settled there in a campground promoting the CD and playing gigs till the winds of winter began to blow then south to Lake Havasu . We stayed there till we ran out of money and took another ship contract to pay off the bills we'd made on the " promotional tour".

You will be in out in the country but with some neighbors. The bus is located in among another Air bnb, My place and a couple of artist studios. It is a great place to get away from the traffic of the city. Clean air, quiet nights and excellent views of the whole Joshua Tree area.
