This warm, privately accessed upstairs apartment is the most unpretentious of our three Raton properties — and proudly so. Mid-century bones, Santa Fe–inspired décor, clean lines, and warm southwestern textures create a space that feels genuinely relaxed from the moment you walk in.
Inside you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with coffee, a plush queen memory foam bed, a full bath with tub, dedicated workspace, and fiber-optic WiFi. A 65" smart TV with surround sound makes for a proper movie night after a day on the trails. The living area includes a futon — comfortable for kids or a third guest.
Outside, a beautiful shaded yard with a small patio and chairs is all yours. We have generous off-street parking that comfortably accommodates trucks with trailers — no squeezing in.
Why Raton
Climax Canyon Park — a nationally recognized trail system loved by hikers, bikers, and leashed dogs — is just a few blocks away. Downtown Raton is an easy walk: Bruno's Pizza, Colfax Ale Cellar, Sage Coffee, Los Chanquis, and the historic Amtrak station are all within reach. Sugarite Canyon State Park offers kayaking, fishing, and extended trails just outside town.
For hunters, northeastern New Mexico is one of the most productive regions in the West — elk, mule deer, pronghorn, and turkey — with easy access to multiple game management units right from Raton.

The entire upstairs apartment is yours — queen bedroom, full bath, kitchen, living area, and private patio. You'll also have access to the large shared grassy yard.

$50 pet fee for stays up to 3 nights, $75 for stays 4 nights or longer. A refundable $150 pet deposit is also required and returned after checkout pending inspection
