This is a great apartment for people wishing to be close to the city, but feel like they are in the bush. Its a very peaceful apartment.
This is a recently renovated apartment beside the Yarra river and parkland. Easy parking on the tree lined street, European appliances, fast internet, Miele dishwasher and washing machine as well as air conditioning.
Excellent balcony with BBQ - over looking Yarra Bend Park. This park is fabulous for walking and cycling. There is a great shared cycle path that leads all the way into the the CBD. We have bikes available for you to borrow (just let us know if you want them in advance to make sure).
One double sized bedroom. The main bedroom is available and has a double bed, desk and reading lamp. The mattress is high quality latex and very comfortable.
The couch in the living room folds out into a comfortable double bed, should you require it. We have heavy curtains in the living room, so light is not much of an issue.
Very quiet, well built apartment means you are sure to have a restful sleep, with only the sound of bird song in the morning.
Only 25 minutes bike ride to the CBD or 15 minutes on the train (station 8 minutes walk).
Great, free tennis courts are within walking distance.
The neighborhood has good eating possibilities and a great local character! Good range of shops nearby, with cafes and grocery stores...
Guests have access to everything in the apartment, except the small bedroom which is set up for a toddler.
Guests are welcome to use dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioner.
The best part of staying here is that you feel like you are in the Australian bush, but you're less than 30 minutes from the CBD.
Public transport is close by, with a direct connection to the CBD (downtown). The train station is only 8 minutes walk from the apartment.
Please refrain from having food and drinks in rooms with carpet (bedrooms).
Strictly no smoking on property, even on balcony.

Elliot and Meredith made us welcome -- a bottle of wine on the table and an invitation to make ourselves at home was appreciated.
The flat is in a great position and we enjoyed walks by the river, in the park, access to the local shopping centre and hopping on the train into the city. Close proximity to the freeway was also a bonus for us for visiting family and friends. The use of bikes was a real bonus --- the bike paths in the area are brilliant.
Fairfield is a lovely area to make a base.

I"m a sustainable transport planner from Melbourne, Australia. My partner, Meredith and I love traveling and especially enjoy the opportunity to stay with locals. We are clean, respectful and enjoy visiting and learning about new cities.
We are currently living in Utrecht, the Netherlands, where I work at the university.
