Response from Rory And Braidie:

Hi Lisa - We feel badly that you did not enjoy your experience. It is a shame that we did not have the opportunity to meet but unfortunately sometimes this happens with our guests as everyone has pretty full schedules when they are visiting Boston. Unfortunately, our schedules did not seem to align as when we were home you guys were out and vice versa. We do, however, really enjoy getting to meet our guests! Even though we did not meet, any guests are welcome to message us via Airbnb if they're unhappy during their stay and we'll do everything we can to make their stay better.

A few points regarding some of the issues in your review:

1) We agree about the carpets! We have been working to get our carpets replaced for the past couple months but unfortunately it has taken some time to schedule this. Good news, they are getting replaced the first week of June!

2) You mentioned the day before your arrival that you would have a third guest as well. Before changing the reservation to include a third guest we did send you a message stating that the third person would be sleeping on an air mattress and we clearly outlined the increased charge (and even gave you a discount on our normal rate because you had already booked). If you thought this was to expensive or had an issue with this, you were free to decline this option. Our apartment is best suited for two guests and we are very transparent about this (and our additional charge) when someone tries to request three people (but we do understand though that some people would rather pay for the additional person if traveling with three people then to split up at two different places).

3) We have coffee and tea available in the kitchen for you to enjoy. This was also stated in the instructions that were left on your dresser.

4) The TV remote control and apple TV control are found in the coffee table drawer- a pretty standard place to look, no?

5)Our bathroom includes: towels (Bath, hand and face), a blow dryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and hair spray. Is there something additional you would have liked?

Again our apologies that you didn't fully enjoy your stay.
