What kind of interaction can I expect?
We've had guests we've gotten to know, who have hung out with us and joined us for dinner with friends. We've also had guests who wish to come and go with little interaction. We are flexible. Feel free to give us a sense of your schedule when you arrive.
What kind of noise level can I expect?
We live on a fairly busy city street, but the apartment is on the tenth floor so there can be some street noise but no one has ever complained.
What control do I have over heat/AC?
There are two controls in the apartment: one controls your space and the common areas of the apartment, and one controls our space. You are welcome to raise/lower the heat/AC to meet your needs (warning: the heat is pretty sensitive, and it can get pretty hot after a small adjustment!).
#1: Please communicate, communicate, communicate.
Don't be afraid to ask questions!
We are flexible and the apartment can be as well. Most likely, we'll be happy to accommodate your needs and you'll be happy in return!
#2. Please no smokers
#3. Please be respectful of our space, our belongings, and our neighbors.
Staying at Rory and Braidie's place was an incredible experience. The whole place was amazing, our room had a fantastic view and you could feel the hosts' personal touch everywhere. The location was perfect, even when visiting downtown Boston often!
Definitely recommend the experience. Would totally be back with these hosts!
The host left clear directions on how to find the apartment was very communicative before we even arrived. The location is amazing and so close to the T.
Great place and great location! Rory and Braidie were great hosts - they were welcoming, provided a clean and comfortable room, and responded to all our questions very quickly. Not only is the apartment itself very nice and clean, but it's very close to the subway and many restaurants. I would definitely come back!
The host canceled this reservation 45 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My stay with Rory and Braidie was wonderful. This was my first stay in an Airbnb so I was a little worried but they kept in contact with me beginning a week before my stay. Our paths crossed briefly but I was made to feel very welcome and encouraged to make myself at home in their absence. The room was very comfortable and the views phenomenal!
The location was perfect for my needs. I was able to walk everywhere including a great hole in the wall 4 star lobster place called Alive and Kicking Lobster. I highly recommend it. They will cook your lobster for under $14 and the lobster sandwich was divine!
Rory and Braidie were kind enough to take us in last minute and we were super grateful! They were very welcoming and made sure our stay was as good as it can be. Description was accurate. The location was perfect and conveniently located by public transportation to get you anywhere you want. The space was clean, cozy and spacious. The patio overlooking Cambridge was a great bonus! Thanks Rory and Braidie!
