Is there parking nearby?
We have a Cambridge visitor pass for our guests: parking is first-come-first served, but you can usually find something within walking distance. On weekends and evenings there is free parking at metered locations within walking distance.
There is a pay public parking garage next door, the Green Street Parking Garage: (website hidden)
What kind of interaction can I expect?
We've had guests we've gotten to know, who have hung out with us and joined us for dinner with friends. We've also had guests who wish to come and go with little interaction. We are flexible. Feel free to give us a sense of your schedule when you arrive.
What kind of noise level can I expect?
We live on a fairly busy city street, but the apartment is on the tenth floor so there can be some street noise but no one has ever complained.
What control do I have over heat/AC?
There are two controls in the apartment: one controls your space and the common areas of the apartment, and one controls our space. You are welcome to raise/lower the heat/AC to meet your needs (warning: the heat is pretty sensitive, and it can get pretty hot after a small adjustment!).
#1: Please communicate, communicate, communicate.
Don't be afraid to ask questions!
We are flexible and the apartment can be as well. Most likely, we'll be happy to accommodate your needs and you'll be happy in return!
#2. Please no smokers
#3. Please be respectful of our space, our belongings, and our neighbors.
The apartment was clean and conveniently located. Everything was just as expected. Good experience
Staying at Rory and Braidie's apartment was fantastic. Although we only met them once, they were very hospitable. The listing is very accurate - the apartment is very clean, coffee and tea was provided, and the apartment is in a great location. It was very easy to get around downtown and to the city thanks to the T Metro, which was only a block or two away from their apartment.
The room itself is big with a lot of space and the bed was seriously one of the most comfortable beds ever. I would highly recommend staying with Rory and Braidie. We had a great time - thank you!
Très très bonne expérience!
Tout était conforme à la description, aucun problème pour obtenir les clés. L'emplacement est parfait pour se déplacer dans la région de Boston, le métro est juste à côté!
Merci Rory et Braidie!
Delightful stay in Boston w Rory and Braidie. Perfect location and 'll the privacy desired. Sweet couple. See u again!
Rory and Bradie's place was perfect. Very clean, quiet, and just what we were looking for. Very, very close to the subway as well, which was a great bonus.
Rory and Braidie were fantastic hosts. The apartment was in great location, and exactly as described in the listings. We found their instructions very easy to follow, and had no problems getting to the apartment. When we were there, we felt safe, welcomed and almost at home in their apartment, which made our city break even better. Both Rory and Braidie were also prompt at responding to us, and any questions we had were always addressed in a timely manner. This is a first rate property, and given the chance we would happily stay there again.
I had a great stay in Rory and Braidie's apartment. They have created a comfortable room with all a guest needs to have a pleasant stay in Cambridge. The location is unbeatable--just a block or so from Central Square, yet far enough away to avoid noise. They are also very accommodating and make staying with them easy.
Thanks for a great stay, Rory and Braidie! I'd love to stay with you again when in Cambridge!
We are looking forward to meeting you!
