If you are going to visit Boston and or Cambridge, this is the place to stay. Located in the heart of Central Square, Cambridge, we offer easy access to everything Boston and Cambridge have to offer. We are steps from a variety of restaurants, nightlife, and Public Transportation, and close to Harvard, MIT and downtown Boston. This is a great location for visiting Harvard, MIT and or BU.

-Public Transportation: The Central Square subway 'T' Stop on the Red Line, the #1 Bus which runs up and down Massachusetts Avenue, and a cab stand are all steps away. An we mean literally steps away, you can see them from the front door.

-Cambridge sites: We are equidistant between Harvard and MIT: Both are 5 mins away by public transport, or a lovely 15-20 min walk.

-Downtown Boston is a short 5 minute ride on either the subway or the bus.

-We provide travel tips and places to check out around Cambridge/Boston upon request.

Taken great care of by a young professional couple in their late-20s/early 30s, this private room features:

- Full-Size bed with nice cotton bedding

- Room features a chaise lounge, set of drawers and closet space

- Private bathroom (you won't have to share while you are here!) with towels and toiletries (Shampoo, Conditioner and Soap) so no need to check your bags to get liquids.

The decor is contemporary with black wood, biege carpeting and colorful art. The room comes with other modern amenities provided in our 2-bedroom apartment: private bedroom, wireless Internet, TV (basic cable), kitchen, private bathrooms and a (coin or credit card) laundry room downstairs. We are on the top floor of our elevator-serviced building, and have a large deck with a beautiful view of Cambridge. There is also a small gym available in the building.

Please check the Calendar tab for the room's availability, and if it looks available, send us a message with any questions you have.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Is there parking nearby?
We have a Cambridge visitor pass for our guests: parking is first-come-first served, but you can usually find something within walking distance. On weekends and evenings there is free parking at metered locations within walking distance.

There is a pay public parking garage next door, the Green Street Parking Garage: (website hidden)

What kind of interaction can I expect?
We've had guests we've gotten to know, who have hung out with us and joined us for dinner with friends. We've also had guests who wish to come and go with little interaction. We are flexible. Feel free to give us a sense of your schedule when you arrive.

What kind of noise level can I expect?
We live on a fairly busy city street, but the apartment is on the tenth floor so there can be some street noise but no one has ever complained.

What control do I have over heat/AC?
There are two controls in the apartment: one controls your space and the common areas of the apartment, and one controls our space. You are welcome to raise/lower the heat/AC to meet your needs (warning: the heat is pretty sensitive, and it can get pretty hot after a small adjustment!).

  • Rory and Braidie apartment is the extremely well located and maintained. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and I enjoyed the use of the well organized kitchen. The bed is very comfortable and you have an incredible view from the windows. Rory and Braidie make sure that everything is set up so you can enjoy your stay at their home and in Cambridge. They even let me drop my suitcase early in the morning, much before check in time!
I will certainly go back there next time I'm in Cambridge.

  • I have to concur with all the previous reviews on this apartment - it was perfect. I had a fabulous stay here. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated and the bed is extremely comfortable. For a short stay in Boston this place had everything I needed - including a hair dryer in the bathroom, which was most appreciated.

Rory and Braidie were super hosts and made me feel extremely welcome. The whole experience beats a hotel any day!

  • My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Cambridge. The room itself was nice, spacious, and had a great view; the bathroom was also nice and clean. Check-in and check-out was easy; Rory and Braidie were great about working with our schedule. Their apartment is a 25-minute walk from Harvard's campus (which I didn't mind, given the nice weather) with fun restaurants and interesting bookstores along the way. I only have positive feedback for the comfortable room and helpful hosts! :)

  • My boyfriend and I stayed here while we attended a conference at Harvard. Rory and Braidie's apartment is fantastic-- it has a wonderful view of the whole city. Rory and Braidie themselves were super accommodating and made it easy for us to go in and out. Sadly, we left so early and came back late during the conference so we didn't get to meet them, but they made us feel at home. We would certainly come back.
