If you are going to visit Boston and or Cambridge, this is the place to stay. Located in the heart of Central Square, Cambridge, we offer easy access to everything Boston and Cambridge have to offer. We are steps from a variety of restaurants, nightlife, and Public Transportation, and close to Harvard, MIT and downtown Boston. This is a great location for visiting Harvard, MIT and or BU.
-Public Transportation: The Central Square subway 'T' Stop on the Red Line, the #1 Bus which runs up and down Massachusetts Avenue, and a cab stand are all steps away. An we mean literally steps away, you can see them from the front door.
-Cambridge sites: We are equidistant between Harvard and MIT: Both are 5 mins away by public transport, or a lovely 15-20 min walk.
-Downtown Boston is a short 5 minute ride on either the subway or the bus.
-We provide travel tips and places to check out around Cambridge/Boston upon request.
Taken great care of by a young professional couple in their late-20s/early 30s, this private room features:
- Full-Size bed with nice cotton bedding
- Room features a chaise lounge, set of drawers and closet space
- Private bathroom (you won't have to share while you are here!) with towels and toiletries (Shampoo, Conditioner and Soap) so no need to check your bags to get liquids.
- Other amenities: hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
The decor is contemporary with black wood, biege carpeting and colorful art. The room comes with other modern amenities provided in our 2-bedroom apartment: private bedroom, wireless Internet, TV (basic cable), kitchen, private bathrooms and a (coin or credit card) laundry room downstairs. We are on the top floor of our elevator-serviced building, and have a large deck with a beautiful view of Cambridge. There is also a small gym available in the building.
Please check the Calendar tab for the room's availability, and if it looks available, send us a message with any questions you have.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Is there parking nearby?
We have a Cambridge visitor pass for our guests: parking is first-come-first served, but you can usually find something within walking distance. On weekends and evenings there is free parking at metered locations within walking distance.
There is a pay public parking garage next door, the Green Street Parking Garage: (website hidden)
What kind of interaction can I expect?
We've had guests we've gotten to know, who have hung out with us and joined us for dinner with friends. We've also had guests who wish to come and go with little interaction. We are flexible. Feel free to give us a sense of your schedule when you arrive.
What kind of noise level can I expect?
We live on a fairly busy city street, but the apartment is on the tenth floor so there can be some street noise but no one has ever complained.
What control do I have over heat/AC?
There are two controls in the apartment: one controls your space and the common areas of the apartment, and one controls our space. You are welcome to raise/lower the heat/AC to meet your needs (warning: the heat is pretty sensitive, and it can get pretty hot after a small adjustment!).
#1: Please communicate, communicate, communicate.
Don't be afraid to ask questions!
We are flexible and the apartment can be as well. Most likely, we'll be happy to accommodate your needs and you'll be happy in return!
#2. Please no smokers
#3. Please be respectful of our space, our belongings, and our neighbors.
I had a great stay in Rory and Braidie's apartment. They have created a comfortable room with all a guest needs to have a pleasant stay in Cambridge. The location is unbeatable--just a block or so from Central Square, yet far enough away to avoid noise. They are also very accommodating and make staying with them easy.
Thanks for a great stay, Rory and Braidie! I'd love to stay with you again when in Cambridge!
Simple to get there, very clear instructions, the description of the place was 100% accurate, with a cozy warm room provided for us.
Rory and Bradie were very lovely, gave us room to cook and helpful tips for getting around and things to do. Location is excellent, being extremely close to the T metro, and H-mart, our favourite!
Lovely apartment! Perfect location, easy walk to great restaurants and public transportation. Check-in was easy. Although we didn't get to meet Roy and Braidie, they were in touch during our stay and answered any questions we had. Will definitely stay again!
Great location. I didn't feel bothered by the hosts but they responded when I asked for assistance.
I would stay there again.
Rory and Braid are very nice, thank you for your sharing room for us. The position of their apartment is very convenient between Harward and M.I.T. Their apartment is very clean and warm. I love Boston, Lobster etc..
Although we didn't have the chance to meet Braidie and Rory, we felt home at their place. The room was cozy, bed was great, and having the bathroom for ourselves was a plus. I have to say that location couldn't be better. Literally a few steps from the T, which is awesome during cold weather. Would stay there again for sure. Thank you for the experience. Elise and Felipe.
I had a great stay here. The room was exactly as pictured (and the bed was kind of amazing - I generally didn't want to get up). Rory and Braidie were friendly and understanding when I had to hole-up in my room to do graduate school work for much of my stay. Everything was clean, and the location was perfect - two seconds from the T.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
