Monte Mitla Ecoaldea is a dreamy natural space because it is located on top of a mountain where you will find tree houses that we call "Nests" because they are built on trees, with natural and recycled materials such as mud, straw, bottles and green roofs.
We try to live in a self-sustaining way so we collect rainwater, electricity with solar panels and homemade wind generators. If you like nature and tranquility, this is your place.

The space
It is a wooded plain of 13 hectares on top of a mountain of 2300 MSN. There are viewpoints in all four directions and in the west area there are seven tree houses (nests) with a single room with a double bed in each; a hut at ground level, a hobbit house and another nest with three double beds; but the PINK nest is larger, it is the one in the cover photo.
This one has a king size bed, a sofa bed, a kitchenette, basic utensils, a bathroom with a toilet, a shower with hot water, a fireplace, a terrace with a barbecue, a hammock and spectacular views.
In the common areas there is a kitchenette with utensils to prepare your food and a terrace with dining room and campfire area. There is also a pyramid 4 times smaller than that of Chichenitza where the serpent also descends at the equinoxes from a week before and a week after March 21 and September 22
There is a place for meditation called "tonal focus" where when you speak you hear the echo of your voice in the center of the circle. Next door is a cedar labyrinth and around the mountain is a 1.8 kilometer trail with natural viewpoints. A beautiful experience.

Guest access
THE ACCESS IS A STEEP, COBBLED CLIMB OF 1 KILOMETER FROM THE ROAD. ANY CAR CAN GO UP BUT NOT LOW-RIDER CARS.
THE SECRET TO GETTING TO THE ECO-VILLAGE EASIER IS TO NOT LET THE CAR SKID, GO UP SLOWLY BUT CONTINUOUSLY WITHOUT STOPPING HALFWAY UP SO THAT THE TIRES DO NOT SKID. BY DOING THIS, ANY CAR CAN GO UP

Other things to note
For your comfort, we have already installed the ecological, water-saving toilet instead of a dry toilet and boiler
