This quiet, spacious 2 bedroom apartment is ideal for a relaxing get away. Situated on a charming complex, there are 12 apartments, within 4 blocks.
Tastefully decorated with light coloured, modern furniture, the apartment can sleep up to 6 people. We recommend a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children for a more comfortable stay.
The master bedroom has a double bed, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and on-suite with its’ own private balcony. The second bedroom also has a double bed and a ceiling fan. The fully fitted kitchen has everything including a full cooker with 1 electric and 3 gas rings, electric oven, microwave, toaster and washing machine. The living room has 1 sofa, 1 double sofa bed, ceiling fan, and air-conditioning, TV (with limited English speaking channels), DVD and CD player. This area is open plan with a dining table which seats 6 and another balcony. There is also private parking on site.
The apartment is on the top 3rd floor and both balconies have a mountain and full sea view. The gardens are well maintained and the views from the “infinity” style swimming pool (shared) add to a relaxing experience.
Yalikavak is situated on the Bodrum peninsula and is approx. 1 hour from Bodrum airport and just 30 minutes from Bodrum Town centre. Formerly the Bodrum area’s main fishing port, Yalikavak is considered the most elite village on the Bodrum Peninsula. It has a bustling centre, particularly on market day, many beaches including two blue flag beaches one at the port and the other the public beach. It also has many high quality restaurants as well as several magnificent bays. Yalıkavak is surrounded by hills offering tourists views of the town and nearby Mediterranean coastline.
There is a taxi rank and the local buses on your door step, which run from early morning till after midnight and are the cheapest form of transport.
Local sights to see in Bodrum Town Centre are the Mausoleum (one of the 7 wonders of the world), Bodrums famous Castle of St. Peter, within the grounds include a Museum of Underwater Archeology and hosts several cultural festivals throughout the year. There is also the renovated amphitheatre, which is the summer hot spot for concerts and dance shows.
Private transfers can also be arranged.
It is a beautiful apartment with an amazing view. We stayed 2 couples at the house. Loved the peacefulness of the place. Space is good enough. Very close to the sea and city center. I would recommend this place to couples and friends going on holiday.
I couldnt meet with Karen but she was really polite. You can find more than you need in the flat (sound system, lcd, playstation, board games, all kitchen equipment etc.) She recommed nice places in Yalikavak and gave nice advises for our holiday. If you would like to have lovely holiday you should contact to Karen
Very well maintained appartment in a nice location with pool and beach
My boyfriend and I stayed in Karen's apartment a few weeks ago and had an amazing time! The apartment was clean, well looked after and equipped with everything you need, including spices and seasoning in the kitchen and dvd player and dvds in the living area. The apartment has 2 balconies which look out on to incredible views of the pool and the beach (which is just a 10/15 minute walk away). The pool area was very peaceful and the surrounding area is truly stunning. We unfortunately did not get to meet Karen, although when I spoke to her over the phone and via email she seemed very nice. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday I would certainly recommend this apartment!
Karen is an excellent host. During the entire process, from booking to the actual travel she was always available, responding to e-mails and questions ultra quick and overall being very helpful in every aspect.
The apartment is nice, with a well kept garden and wonderful pool and it's literally a 10 minute walkway to the beach. The view is breathtaking. Our family loved it - highly recommended!
Karen was a wonderful host and also very helpful. We had to cut short our trip and Karen was very understanding and accomodative. The house is pretty and clean and offers a well maintained swimming pool. It has a stunning view from all the balconies. However please note that Yalikavak is about an hour bus ride from Bodrum and doesnt have many restaurant and pubs in 10-15 min walking vicinity.
I went to Turkey with my boyfriend. We first went to Istanbul for 2 days then, we went to Bodrum. We arrived really late but thanks to Karen's help, we had booked a shuttle's bus transfert to our flat. Karen had given me all the instructions i needed to catch the door's key on my own as she wasn't there to give them to me. Our week in her flat at Yalikavak was a waking dream. The flat is incredibly clean, huge and sunny. The pictures shown on the website are exactly the reality. And i would say, the pictures can't show how beautiful is the view ! The common swimming pool was the cleanest i ever find as a gardener was there each morning to clean the garden and the swimming pool. Transfert to the center was so easy and i would say, so nice as you take the bus with turkish's citizens of Yalikavak. I was amazed by the welcome of turkish people. We could never be lost or in a bad position as everybody was always there to help us even if there are not so many people who speak english. We created a turkish/english/hand language to communicate. I already knew Bodrum but i only went there 1 day during the week. Yalikavak's coast, Gümüsluk were much more interesting.
I couldn't have had this so nice stay without Karen's help who was always behind her computer, answering questions as soon as possible. She gave me the instructions for buses, She put restaurant's flyers in the flat and she also answered to questions about Greece's transfert by boat. Karen is generous and everything in her flat is too.
Thanks to her for all of this !
Turkey, Karen, i'll come back soon.
Karen was a great help in helping set up our holiday. Highly recommended airbnb agent.
