Very charming 2 bedroom house in the city center. Has a very large kitchen with modern appliances. The living room is spacious and free for you to use anytime.
You have a double room and share a bathroom with me. Please know that the bed is a full/double and not a queen. There is a sink in the bedroom, which I thought was a little strange when I first moved in but now I realize it is super convenient when guests are here especially since there are no outlet in the bathrooms in Ireland.
You can access every part of the house expect my room :) You are free to use the kitchen and living room whenever you would like. I just ask that your belongings are kept in your room.
I love getting to know my guests, maybe have a meal together or share stories over a glass of wine.
The area is very cute with other little terraced houses. There are cafes, restaurants, bars and grocery stores all within a few min. walk.
Grand Canal dock is just 5 minutes walk away, Trinity is about 10 min. and Temple bar is about 15 min.
I think the easiest way to get around is by walking. The house is in a really great location to quickly walk most places.
I have an adorable kitten named Bisous - he is very sweet and loves to play :)
No smoking in the house.
No overnight guest except those who book (unless discussed first with me)
For Long Term guest, I expect help with cleaning of the house and share in buying commonly used items (toilet paper, soap, etc.)
No parties in the house
This was my first trip with Airbnb, and it was a really positive experience. :) Jen was really quick at replying to any questions I had before the trip and concerning my arrival, and though I arrived in the middle of the day on a Friday, she came to meet me during her lunch break to let me into the house and show me around. She was friendly and made me feel really comfortable about making myself at home (wi-fi, where the heating was, my key, etc.), and Bisous was, of course, a definite highlight! The house was fairly easy to find once I found a map on my phone, and after that it was really easy to find my way both to and from other parts of the city. Trinity College was a five-minute walk and Grafton Street and Temple Bar 15 minutes at a comfortable pace, and I actually ended up walking everywhere instead of using the Dublin Bikes service like I had planned. The fact that the house is close to the DART makes it really easy to find your way back, too, as you can just follow it out of town until you’re back in an area you know. I also loved the fact that there were three supermarkets at a walking distance from the house: one about a minute away, another two, and the third about five-ten minutes if you wanted a slightly bigger selection of stuff. The room was great, with a really big, comfy bed, and lots of storage space (though I just kept my stuff in my suitcase). The sink and mirror was really convenient for getting ready in the morning and getting ready for bed in the evening, and I loved the fact that, when I asked if I could borrow a hairdryer (I hadn’t thought to bring one), Jen told me that there was already one I could use in the bottom drawer – it says something about how used she is to having visitors that might not have thought of everything, haha! The one thing I might point out is the house can get a bit cold, and as Jen told me, it’s a slightly older building so it takes a while to get warm. I was, however, slightly sleep-deprived from the long days of travelling being so close together (I arrived Friday afternoon and left Sunday morning) and the fact that I stayed up late to study for an exam (the reason I went to Dublin), so I may just have been a little bit more prone to getting cold than usual because of that. Jen was great about it, though, showing me how to work the heating and being happy to leave it on – and in the end, I actually ended up going back downstairs just before bed to switch it off until the morning. Overall, Jen was a great host: she has a brilliant response time, is really friendly and will happily recommend places to...
Jennifer's house was easy to get to, just a 25 min bus ride from the airport, followed by a short walk. I was greeted by the adorable ball of cuddly fluff that is Bisous the cat, and I felt very at home in Jennifer's lovely house. It was bright, clean and cosy and Jennifer herself was very welcoming. I was attending a conference, and the house was ideally located within walking distance of the venue and a short walk further to get to Temple Bar and other night spots. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Dublin! :-)
It was very nice to meet Jennifer. Her house is clean, offers enough space and there is a bonus : the cat "Bisous" who is really cute and always ready to get hugs. The location is 10-15 mn from the city centre and good if you want to go to the Aviva Stadium. You can find good restaurants and coffees around.
Jennifer and her boyfriend made me feel very welcome, they provided tea and coffee too. Sharing a space with them felt relaxed. Jennifer has a lovel cat too.
The house is quite cosy, but the room had a lock and provided ample privacy. The room contains a sink too, although only the hot tap worked during my stay. The room was slightly cold, but they had thoughtfully left extra blankets for me so I was warm enough.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay, and enjoyed spending time with Jennifer and Marco. I'd recommend it.
Jennifer was a huge help, both before and during my trip, when it came to planning and making the most out of my week in Ireland. She is knowledgeable about what to do and how to get there while on the island. Jennifer was warm, friendly, and personable. I could not have asked for more from her as a host or her accommodations for me.
The house is in a great location, within a short walking distance of the center. Both the house is very nice, clean and cozy! Jennifer is a lovely host and I simply adore her cat Bisous!! I would recommend staying here to all! Thank you Jenn!
Jenn's home is lovely. So near to everything you would want. We were made to feel so welcome and because of this were able to enjoy our experience in Dublin. Her little ball of fur Bisous just stole the show. Highly recommend.

I am an American living in Ireland and working for Airbnb. I would love to meet and host people who are traveling through or staying a while! I also hope that I'll have more opportunities to travel around now that all of Europe is my backyard! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
