Comfortable and clean home, beautiful property, and great location.
Located 2 miles from Belleayre Mountain. The house is on 2 acres and borders 65 acres of privately owned forest. The front of the house, with full deck, faces a meadow and forest with mountain view. The back of the house faces the road. The property is bordered by Hog Mountain stream and Red Kill creek (no hurricane damage). Explore the property by following the left side treeline into the woods where the stream and creek meet. There are 3 bedrooms (2 Queen, 1 Single), 1 pull-out couch (Queen) in the living room. 2 full bathrooms (1 with tub, 1 with step in shower stall). Kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, full stock of dishes, glasses, flatware and pots/pans. The dining room comfortably sits 6, but can accommodate a couple more. Fireplace (gel fueled). Outdoor fire pit (near the hammock). Gas grill (BBQ utensils are on top of the refrigerator, and there's an extra propane tank under the deck (should the tank run out)). Cell/Smart phones work at the house. Cable TV / DVD/CD Player / NetFlix / WIFI (no passcode needed). One of the Queen bedrooms has a TV with cable, stereo and DVD/CD player. The twin bedroom has a Casio keyboard.

Fyi, prior to your arrival, I'll tell you where the keys are.
Also, please note, for ease and safety of exiting the driveway, it's best to back into it. Fyi, the driveway fits 3 cars. And, the driveway is directly off Big Red Kill Road, so it's Winter weather friendly.
Of note: Adirondack Trailways drops off at the gas station in Fleischmanns, and can also drop off at the bottom of Big Red Kill Road, a mere 1/4 mile walk to the house.
Also: on your way along Route 28, you'll pass a full-service supermarket, AIG, in Boiceville, as well as a warm-weather-month farmer's market, Hanover Farms, in Mt. Tremper.
Fyi, all bedding, bath and kitchen linens are provided.
Also, if using the pull-out couch, for best comfort, pull the mattress out and put it on the living room floor. Or, if you prefer, ask me for an air mattress (I've 2 Queen and 1 Twin, with an electric pump).
I'm available 24/7. Enjoy this house in every season, 2.5 hours from the George Washington Bridge!
Dina was a great host! Very accommodating, very helpful with suggestions on area activities. The house was spacious, clean and just what we needed. Highly recommend!
Dina was great. She responded promptly. Made herself available. Even came by to salt! House was neat and clean. Would stay there again.
What a wonderful place to spend 2 nights while skiing at Belleayre which is about 10 - 15 min. away! My and another family (4 adults & 3 kids) spent 2 nights at this wonderful house. The house layout is great for sharing. At the entrance is the dining room, to the left are 1 BR (single bed), bathroom, kitchen and living room (queen sofa bed), to the right are 2 additional bedrooms (queen beds) and another bathroom. There is carpeting for the bedrooms and living room and hardwood floor for the remainder of the house. It is a clean and charming house that is toasty warm. It overlooks a pretty yard full of snow-covered evergreens. There is parking for 2 cars.
The house has all creature comforts: wifi, Wii, Netflix and cable TV! So, enjoy your tablets, computers and TV after a hard day of skiing.
We ate out one night and cooked in the kitchen the next. Dina left us plenty of room in her refrigerator to put our groceries. There are plenty of pots, pans and utensils to cook a nice meal.
Our host Dina was very nice and accommodating and answered my many posted questions within a few hours. Also, she allowed us to stay later on our check-out day to accommodate our ski schedule.
We had a wonderful stay in Dina's house and plan to come back in the future!
The house was very warm and welcoming. Instructions for everything were clearly laid out with every amenity of the house at our disposable. I look forward to staying at Dina's place again.
Dina and her home were exactly as described on the AirBNB add. Dina was excellent at responding to any questions and making sure I had all of her contact info. The house was in great condition and more then big enough for the five of us and my dog (who loved exploring the large property the house sits on). The house is close enough to the ski resort to go back and forth, as well as a short drive to places to eat and supermarkets. Great place to stay and would love to come back again!
Myself, my fiance, my dog, and four other friends went up to the Catskills for a long ski weekend. Dana's place accommodated all of us with no problems. The location, just outside of Fleischmanns, was great, very close to Belleayre Mt. The town of Fleischmanns was quaint and not crowded, even over the holiday weekend, which was exactly what we were hoping for. I still have a hard time believing that such a cute little town, close to great skiing, and so close to the city (only 2 hours) can be so quiet. It's a great place to go to escape and Dina's place is a great place to stay while there. Her house is cozy, the property is expansive, and the little creek running alongside the house is sublime. We cracked the window at night and had an amazing sleep listening to the stream all night. Overall, a great place to go for relaxing and outdoor activity. We would highly recommend Dina's place!
We had a lovely stay at Dina's place. The house is very comfortable with everything we could have asked for. Was a nice and relaxing place to go back to after a tiring day of skiing at belleayre. Will definitely visit again!
We had a great time at Dina's house. The property is very spacious, cosy, clean and comfortable. Great for kids, it has an amazing backyard
Dina was very accommodating, providing everything we needed and being very easy to reach by phone.
I would recommend Dina's place especially for those who love to ski and ride at Bellearye. Plenty of room for our crew of five and so close to the mountain. Loved the gel fireplace... it did sound real!
Plenty of deck space and a nice sized property that would be great to enjoy in warm weather.
Very nice comfortable home and Dina was very responsive and helpful through the whole weekend. She was always available to answer our questions and we really felt like we were immersed in the community. Thanks again Dina!
