You will delight in the natural beauty of the mountain setting overlooking the water. Beach house located in a lot of 2.5 acres, it is a very private and secure house overlooking the Golfo and Penisula de Nicoya in Costa Rica.
Très belle maison avec une vue géniale. Cependant assez loin de Tte commodité
Luis was so pleasant to work with. Very kind and responsive. The home was great and just what we were looking for. Quiet and off the beaten path. The caretakers were also wonderful. Had a great stay.
Beautiful space, and beautiful area!! the pictures are very accurate. The place was not very difficult to find after Carlos had given us very clear directions! we enjoyed our stay there and will definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed staying at Casa Celajes. It was a bit difficult to find, but with directions we were able to get there. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful time at the house, as well as enjoyed the amazing view.
Casa Celajes was great and so was Luis Carlos.
The house is just lovely and in a great setting. By far the best bit of the house is the pool with the most amazing views over the Nicoya Peninsula and such beautiful sunsets.
The house is set up a hill in a small fishing village. If you want to be away from the tourists then this place is great. You need a 4x4 to get up to the house. Best to have your own car as there's not much around that is walking distance. Having said that in the village we bought the most amazing prawns and fish that they had just caught. Unfortunately we didn't have time as we cooked ourselves and watched the sunset a lot and just chilled by the pool, but we saw a few local (just down the hill in the village), very cool looking restaurants that we would have loved to try out. There are small little convince stores near by as well but no supermarkets or beach too close.
The house didn't have wifi, which is lovely to switch off but we found a little wifi cafe just a 10min drive away who were really nice.
During the day the little swallows dip in the pool to drink while you lie there watching them and at night the bats dip on the pool right next to you. You can also see some wildlife in the garden and pick lemons and papayas from the garden.
The family who help with the house live next door and were great and so friendly and helpful. They had picked lemons from the tree for us, had got some local fish for us and left water cooling in the fridge for our arrival.
We stayed here as an alternative to staying in Monteverde after doing some tours during the day, only 1.30hr drive away and MUCH better weather just a short distance away (the drive is so beautiful but do during daylight to be safe). We also then drove to Santa Teresa from Casa Celajes after so it was a good spot to stop in-between.
Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere relaxing, rural, great views, sunsets, star gazing, non touristy and with a nice pool :)
For us, this was a take-your-breath away experience because of the fabulous view and pool. The sunset absolutely looks like the photo and the sunrise is just as lovely.
The house is a little remote. We got groceries before arriving and cooked in for the two days there. Incredibly relaxing and inspiring.
The reservation was canceled 14 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
