The space

Located in the heart of historic hops country and six miles from the village of Cooperstown, Hop Inn Cooperstown provides a serene retreat. We are close to the many sites and activities of Cooperstown, yet away from the crowds when it’s time to unwind.
Hop Inn Cooperstown accommodates a massive private space on the 2nd floor; the Great Room, and two large bedrooms. Each bedroom reflects the essence of two well known hops, Fuggle (classic & traditional) and Cascade (classic meets contemporary). This is a great place for a group of 4 to 6 guests* together. If you are interested in the Fuggle Room, please check out the other listing, Hop Inn Cooperstown - Fuggle Room.
The Cascade Room brings the classics up to date with its black queen-size bed, dresser and side tables. An Amish-built side chair and white marble lamp in the sitting nook rounds out the room to provide an ambiance of classic yet contemporary elegance. Private bathroom with shower is directly across the hall. This room accommodates up to two guests*.
When it's time to relax, the Great Room is the place to go. Watch commercial free movies or TV shows via Netflix and Amazon Prime on the 65" WiFi TV. At this time, this TV is not connected to live broadcast channels. Also, the alcove in the Great Room, provides a comfortable sitting area for reading; pick a book or magazine to suit your taste. There's a square table and chairs for playing a board game or do a puzzle. If you feel the need to exercise, hop on the stationary bike and workout!

We loved everything about this home and our hosts. Located in the country on very scenic property, it is quiet, but yet close to activities and sights in Cooperstown. The bedroom, bathroom, and shared spare were immaculate and very nicely decorated. The bed was awesome - very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Wendy and Andrew were very caring and considerate and ensured our stay would be a memorable one. We would love to stay here again!

This is our second time staying at what we joke is "our dream home." Wendy and Andrew feel more like family than hosts. They truly go out of their way to make sure that your stay goes above and beyond any expectations you may have. The breakfast if amazing and their home is honestly BEAUTIFUL!!!! The view bring you such peace and relaxation. Wendy and Andrews were even kind enough to drop us off at the brewery on their way blueberry picking (and brought us back some yummy blueberries). We just love it here and will be gifting my parents with a trip here in the Spring (as a Christmas gift). We can't wait to come back - Hopefully in October with Friends and our daughter:-)

It would just be reiterative to second all the good things people had to say about the physical space and the hosts, but they are all true.

Andrew and Wendy were wonderful hosts with a beautiful house. Everything was pristine, it was like no one had ever used the bathroom before! Wendy even went above and beyond to drive us to the local distillery when we learned that there's no Uber in Cooperstown!

Everything about Hop In is perfect! Location, comfort, cleanliness, food, privacy, organization, scenery, friendliness. Wendy and Andrew are super nice and I enjoyed being with them. The other guests, Michael and George were delightful. The experience was a 10!

Delightful and welcoming hosts. The perfect home and B&B. The entire second floor is devoted to guests with spacious living space in addtion to large bedrooms and baths, It is a new and well-designed and constructed home that has the character and charm of an upstate-NY historical home but every modern amenity. Beautifully decorated and perfectly appointed. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.

We were both born and raised in New York State, but lived most of our adult lives in the Southwest. Now, we're back!! We love and respect the land in Upstate New York, and all it has to offer. We look forward to seeing you, and sharing our home with you!
