Description

The space

Our home is unusually spacious for an urban development, which allows our guests a more relaxed and private stay in a very comfortable bedroom. We are very close to the countryside with beautiful views from the large floor to ceiling window in this bedroom

Guest access

Our guests can enjoy the full use of the ground floor of our house including our living area and kitchen for breakfast. We also have a back garden which has been used by smoking guests in the past however we do not allow smoking inside the house.

Interaction with guests

We have been welcoming guests to our home for five years and have built some lasting friendships. We are always happy to assist guests with holiday/ travel plans and do what we can to help you get the most out of your stay. On arrival guests are given access keys, so they are free to come and go at their leisure. We also provide spacious secure parking.

The neighborhood

Naas is a hub of activity with local sport centres, cinema, theatre and a vast array of award winning pubs and restaurants. Haydens Traditional Pub has Irish dancing every Tuesday and a great Gypsy Swing Band on Wednesdays.

For horse enthusiasts we are on the doorstep of both the Punchestown and the Curragh racecourses, many equestrian centres and about a 15 min drive from Kildare National Stud and Japanese Gardens.

Local festivals include the Hollywood Vintage Fest, Blessington Vintage Car Rally and Oxygen Music festival.

Naas is most loved for its fabulous selection of boutique shops. However a short drive away you will also find the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge and the Kildare Village Designer Shopping Outlet.

(email hidden) for Dublin we are ideally located very close to the countryside, including canals, lakes, the Curragh plains and not forgetting the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough.

Getting around

Naas is located about 20 miles (40 mins) from Dublin with 24 hour bus services operated by Bus Eireann, JJ Kavanagh and Dublin Coach. The buses can bring you directly to Dublin City Centre and directly to Dublin Airport. We also offer an airport collection/ drop off service for e50 each way.

Nearby roads include the M50 M7 M9 and M6, which will take you to all major locations around the country. West of Ireland -Galway, Mayo, Sligo, about 2-3 hour drive.

Other things to note

We do not have digital tv in the bedroom but a DVD player and extensive DVD collection :)

We stayed with Ceire and Enda for two nights while visiting family. Ceire was very flexible with our arrival time, so we met her mother first and she made us feel very welcome. The room is just as described, spacious, bright and clean, with a large ensuite bathroom. The bed was really comfortable. In the morning we met Ceire and her lovely little daughter. Ceire made tea and toast for us and there was cereal and fruit as well if we wanted it.

Stunning family house. Our room compared to that of a luxury hotel room. Ceire and Enda were generous, helpful and welcoming as hosts. Highly recommend this AirBB. Michelle

Ceire & Enda were great hosts. We were given a warm welcome and the room was even more beautiful than the picture. The town was lovely & we enjoyed a nice meal. We enjoyed meeting their sweet daughter.

Response from Céire:
Thank you Tracy :) Sadly the freakishly good weather has broken so we're back to good old reliable central heating in the middle of our Irish 'Summer'!!

Ceire's place is beautiful, and it's a lovely 10 minute walk from central Naas. The bedroom was nicer than the 4 star hotel we had stayed in the night before:) Overall a great stay. Thanks Ceire!
