The house has been fully renovated merging its architectural identity with modern elements and design furniture.
The wide spaces, high ceilings and large outdoor patios create a tranquil atmosphere perfect to relax feeling like at home.
The breakfast area and the living room are perfectly connected to a large shared kitchen room where food lovers may use all the utensils to cook in a large gas kitchen.
This property has two large patios which serve as common areas for relax, recreation or simply rest in the sun.
Interaction with Guests
Sara and I live in the house. We are fully available all day and night. We like to share time with our guests and make their stay a great stay.
Among the architectural features in Balvanera are the neo-classical Congress building and the statue group in neighboring Plaza Congreso. The El Molino tea room is located across the street in a building that has seen several rounds of restoration since its heyday.
The café Los Angelitos in the corner of Rivadavia and Rincón was a meeting point for poets and musicians. It features a relief of angels in its façade, which is one of the landmarks of the barrio. After extensive restorations, it was reopened in 2007, now it offers live tango shows and it has become a tourist landmark much like the Café Tortoni and Confitería La Ideal.

The whole apartment is really nice and specious with specious common area and nice kitchen. Ignacio and Sara are a really sweet couple who are eager to help and answer all the questions:) they are passioned about cooking so we could find out quite a lot about the argentinian meat. Thank you guys again for everything:)
We stayed here for 3 weeks and loved it. The house is located in a quiet, non touristy part of the city. Easy to walk or catch public transport to other parts of the city. Lots of options for local restaurants. The house itself is a beautiful old building with a decent kitchen and patio. Ignacio is a very charming, helpful guy.
I would highly recommend staying here!
Great place to stay in Buenos Aires.
Ignacio and his guest house are great from all point of views. While Ignacio is friendly and attentive - but not overwhelming -, his house is beautiful and we'll located, in a very "Porteño" style neighborhood quite in the middle of.every touristic parts of the city. The rooms have nice patios in front and the kitchen is clean.and handy. The rest is as on the pictures.
We want to thank Ignacio again for the great time we had. Definitely our "(website hidden) Buenos Aires".
Ignacio was a really warm host to us during our stay and went out of his way to make us comfortable and feel at home. The place is amazing with light patio's, good kitchen and a good livingroom. The neighbourhood felt quiet, yet close to everything and well reachable with public transport. Would definitely stay there again.

We're a swedish-argentine couple enjoying life together in Buenos Aires, sharing a part of it with people from all around the world. Sara is a literature student born and raised in Northern Sweden and Ignacio is the head coach of a Crossfit box and born in the city of BA.
We both enjoy physical activities and running, going to the gym and tango dancing is all part of our everyday life. We also enjoy cooking and eating good food, preferably with friends and family. You can find us in the kitchen at any time and we're more than happy to try new things. Experiencing new things is also our main reason for travelling, both together and separately. We have covered big parts of Europe, Asia and South America, hoping to see a lot more soon.
If you have any question or you want to know more about us, please don't hesitate to send us a message.
