About this listing

This condo is literally five to ten minutes south of downtown. If you are a White Sox fan, U.S. Cellular stadium is five minutes away. If you are a Bears fan, Soldier Field is only five minutes away. If you are here for a conference at the McCormick Place, the commute is only three blocks. Free off street parking is available for those driving. Car rental can be optional as public transportation is literally right outside the door!!!! The #4 or #3 bus will take you right downtown or either taxi cab it since the taxi cab station is right near Michigan Ave. Call it or either jump into one as taxi's are continually coming down Michigan Ave!!!
The building is safe with secured entry; video cameras are located inside and outside of the building and security patrols 24 hours a day. Wireless internet and cable is available for your enjoyment. If you want to run on the lake, the lake is only two blocks away.
There is a new couch placed in the apartment that has a connecting chaise lounge (picture not shown) that can comfortably fit two additional guests.
GREAT DEAL during these harsh economic times!!!
Guests will have full access to the full unit. Towels, appliances, bed, television, etc. I just ask that you treat this place as your own as this is my home.
Interaction with Guests
I'm a traveling nurse so I'm always on the go. Sometimes I will be there to meet guests but usually if I am renting the unit its because I will be traveling but interaction via phone and email is always an option as I'm available 24/7. I also have a cleaning assistant who is available to meet guests in my absences.
I love the accessibility to downtown, the lake, the McCormick place and public transportation. It's affordable to be so close to all amenities mentioned.
Public transportation is right outside the door as the number #3 or #4 bus takes you literally downtown in ten minutes. There are also available cabs running up and down Michigan Ave.
Other Things to Note
The condo building houses a mixture of people. You will find medical residency students as the hospital is a block away. You will find ITT students as the ITT Institute is two blocks away along with primarily working condo owners who work within the downtown area.

Easy check in/out. The view is absolutely amazing. Great location. Close to the city and night life.
Had a great time. It was an excellent location and the area/building felt very safe!
Christopher is a great host. I had a really late flight and he was super flexible with my itinerary. It's a great spot close to downtown with an awesome balcony with an amazing view of downtown. Very comfortable place, highly recommend!
Everything was great. The place was clean and Kean was on top of everything.
Christopher was a great host. Instructions were clear so check-in and check-out was quite easy. Everything was in clean condition and it was a good place to stay for conference at nearby McCormick Place.
While I didn't have the opportunity to actually meet Christopher, he was a very hospitable host. I booked my reservation at the last-minute yet he still willingly accommodated me. Christopher was generous enough to provide me with a refund when I informed him that his apartment wasn't clean when I arrived. He took full responsibility for the state of his listing, even though his cleaning staff made a mistake by cleaning the wrong place. I highly recommend staying at Christopher's place! It is comfortable and it affords a nice view of the city from the top balcony.
Christopher's directions for getting to and into the apartment were clear and accurate. The internet access wasn't working properly when we arrived and he responded promptly to our call and helped us get it working again very quickly. The apartment is easy walking distance (1.2 miles) to US Cellular Field and the baseball game we came to see. About the same distance along Michigan Avenue to many great Chicago sites. The apartment is quite small; no space for 2 people to sit down and eat. Seems a bit overpriced for the space.

About the Host, Christopher
Doctoral student working towards my EdD in Organizational Leadership at Argosy University Downtown Chicago. I bought the place as a extra home when I wanted to stay in the city while going to work or school as I own a home in the southern suburbs of Chicago. Down to earth, fun loving guy that enjoys traveling, shopping and hanging with my close family and friends.
