The Mary and William Room.
The Forst is the home of the Forst Inn Arts Collective and presents theatre and music around the year.
Located about fifteen minutes southwest of Kewaunee proper (in between Kewaunee and Two Rivers).
Please Note: We have an older building and are making two of our rooms available for lodging. It's a long climb up the stairs to get to the rooms over the pub. It's a unique venue and is perfect if you are looking for something off the beaten track with character.

The space
The Mary and William room is located on the second floor of the historic pub. The bathroom is shared; however, there are two bathrooms for the two AirBnB rooms and Michael, so it's pretty easy sharing.

On weekend evenings, there will often be live music or theatre presented on the Forst Inn Stage. You can access tickets for these events at www. forstinn. org. Be aware that while your room is private, on performance nights the pub and theatre will be busy spaces! (Note - most theatre performances include light meal options with the show. It's a nice option if your plans get rained out, or plan a theatre performance right into your vacation!)

The Forst Inn has two cats who are the true owners of the building. We keep them out of the guest rooms. That said, they are VERY friendly and will try to become your guests. If you're not a cat person, just ignore them.

A roll out cot is available for a third person.

Guest access
You have 24 hour access through the door which was once the ladies entrance for the pub. Guests also have access to our comfy and engaging Sitting Room or Lounge as a space to relax and socialize when not in the room. During performance times you are free to hang out in the pub and have a refreshing cocktail - we have a full bar and a great selection of local craft beers and nice wine list selections.

During your stay
Michael also has rooms on the second floor of the pub and is available to assist with your stay and to bring you up to speed on the history of the Inn and area attractions.

Other things to note
Although we don't offer food from our kitchen there is a great place across the street that serves food from 3-8:30 Tuesday-Saturday. For breakfast there are several fun local spots, one of which is less than five minutes away.

Neighborhood highlights

Tisch Mills is a small historic farming/mill town. The Ice Age Trail cuts through town (past our front door). There are several wineries within a few miles: Cold Country, Parallel 44, and von Stiel Winery - all with tasting rooms. It is close to Green Bay, Manitowoc, Two Rivers, Mishicot, Kewaunee and Algoma and is the perfect quiet retreat after a full day in Door County, hiking the Ice Age Trail or area state parks, or watching a Packer game at Lambeau. We look forward to hosting you!
Note: We are about 40 miles south of Sturgeon Bay and fifteen minutes south of Kewaunee. Please find Tisch Mills on a map when making plans so you know where you are staying before you book the room.

Hi! I'm a lecturer at the UW Green Bay (Manitowoc campus) and proprietor of the Forst Inn. We reopened the Forst in September of 2017 and are operating it as a performing arts venue. We produce theatrical shows and book in musicians for events that mostly are presented on weekends.
