This is the real deal, a true country getaway but with lots of style. Indoor wood burning fireplace/stove with wood provided. Outdoor fire pit with chairs and wood provided. Acres of private trails. There’s a reason we have over 300 reviews and almost all 5 stars. Come see!

Beautiful scenery right out your window with hundreds of acres to hike or stroll. We have a barn near the cabin with peacocks and random free range fowl. They’ll be pecking outside the windows in the heat of the day. Conveniently located to all the bluffs have to offer – 5 minutes from golf/ski at Devil’s Head and hiking at Parfrey’s Glen, 10 min to Devil’s Lake State Park, 15 minutes to Lake Wisconsin and 30 minutes to the Dells. Feel free to bring your boat, we'll tell you where you can put in on Lake Wisconsin.
Nicely appointed if you’d like to eat in and close to some good restaurants if you want to go out. We’ll give you a list of our favorites as well as other local tips.
We have acres of woods as well as trails through wild flower prairie to enjoy.

You can enjoy complete privacy in your own cabin but we live right next door and are happy to tell you about the local spots. The cabin has one large loft bedroom with 2 beds (king and twin) and another bedroom on the first floor with one queen. It has an open area encompassing the living room, dining room and kitchen. The heat is from a furnace but we also have a wood burning stove The air conditioning is central air. We use it as a hunting cabin during deer season and it's decorated with a few deer skulls which have been bleached. We have wifi and a smart TV. You won't hear cars here but the animals won't respect quiet hours. Especially the peacocks!

We love when guests walk through our wildflower prairie. We’ve got acres of trails through them and want others to enjoy the abundance of pollinators and birds.
