Response from Max:

Ms. Brooke, there is obviously some miscommunication. I accept that there was no electricity on the night you arrived and checked in despite that knowledge. I will add that my communication with the power company uncovered that there was some switch problem on their end which no one could solve but their technicians. I will also add the reason I chose not to initially refund you the night is due to our 50% refund policy since you had informed me that you would be leaving and might not be back but if the electricity came back to let you know. If you would have been patient you would have been just as happy as Vern and Ruth who stayed during the same time as you.

As for a comforter with a stain, it is the first time I hear about this. Mrs. Jeannette takes incredible pride in her work and I can only imagine if there was something on it it was nto before you arrived.

Given the opportunity to recommend you again I would have to think hard about it. Sinice you did not communicate well.

Hike along hugging the brush as you go, and youll see rough trails that lead to miles of pristine and often isolated beachfront. I ended up on a small strip of beach with nothing around me.

Another great beach hidden away from it all and lined by lush forest. Great for a day outing.
  • Isla de Ratones

Near the small town of Joyuda in Cabo Rojo, is a tiny, breathtaking sandbar that also offers excellent snorkeling. Also Joyuda is home to the best Sea Food Restaurants.
  • Playa Sucia

located at the end of Route 301 in Cabo Rojo, along Puerto Ricos Southwest Coast. Dirty Bay is one of the jewels of the Southwest Coast, if not all of Puerto Rico.
  • Los Morrillos Light

Built in 1882, one of the regions most distinctive landmarks. Easily accessible from Bahía Sucia, original Spanish architecture. This is a functioning lighthouse and is open to the public.
  • La Parguera

Many water activities and sight seeing. You can rent kayaks and boats to see the mangroves or ride out to the kays. Great for snorkeling and take a boat to the fosforecent bay at night.
