Perfect for those who want to relax in an authentic XIV century villa, Villa Veneta is rich in history, having been in the Betteloni family since 1665. Its heritage has been passed down through the generations of Betteloni’s up until today. The Villa was a meeting point for Italian literates and poets such as Cesare, Vittorio and Gianfranco Betteloni and their friends, A. Aleardi and G.Carducci, iconic Italian poets of the late 19th century. The private Villa library, which holds more than 5,000 books and volumes, many very rare with great historical value, is available to visit upon request.

During your stay

We are available and keen to offer you our assistance throughout your entire stay. We can help you with organizing tours, provide you transport information on busses, trains and other means and also offer you the possibility of renting a car, as well as a shuttle taxi service from the Airports. We can also provide tickets for events and concerts in the beautiful Arena di Verona, wine tours, restaurants, and anything else in which you are interested. Please visit Reception inside of the Villa to make arrangements. Vittorio Betteloni, the proprietor of Villa Betteloni, lives in a part of the Villa and his expert knowledge of the region will be invaluable throughout your stay. How to reach Villa Betteloni.
The Villa is close to main transport services, and is reachable by bus from Verona Central Stations– Verona Porta Nuova and from the Valerio Catullo Villafranca airport. Upon request we can organize a pick-up service from the airport or from anywhere else you need.

Other important information to know
Supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, restaurants and other main shops are all within walking distance. There is also a brand new hot spring and sauna center, Aquardens, located very close to the Villa.
