I live next door and can help you find your way in Santa Fe and the surrounding areas. I've lived in Santa Fe for over 16 years but was born in the Netherlands and speak dutch, some french and German. I am a hospice nurse, Ayurvedic massage therapist and yoga teacher.
My husband and I are yoga/qigong teachers and we build a yoga platform on a nearby mesa about 15 miles from our house. We use it for outdoor retreats and classes. Our guests are welcome to use it at anytime. We love to share our place with other yogis --or any one who can appreciate tranquility- and show you the natural beauty of this area
You can use our yoga platform at any time.

Jolanda let us know she wouldn't be there when we arrived but the studio was ready for us. When we walked in, we were so impressed! This space is enchanting and inspiring! Jolanda clearly puts love and work into keeping it this way. The property is about 20-30 minutes from the plaza; just enough seclusion for retreat and also close enough to get in the city mix! We got to meet the beautiful Jolanda on our way out and she suggested we stop at the Roxane Swintzel museum, it was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely be back! Thank you Jolanda
I rented Jolanda's beautiful apt. loft for when my sister came to visit. Jolanda was very helpful and very welcoming. The loft was roomy, bright, and spotless! Very comfortable. The area in which it was located was very quiet with only the sounds of birds chirping and the faint howling of coyotes in the distance. At night, you could go outside into the private patio area and look at the brilliant stars. Across the way was a nice walking path you could walk day or night. The area was private and very safe. I would recommend Jolanda's place to anyone.
I highly recommend staying at Jolanda's studio.
Jolanda was the perfect host. She took the time to show me brochures and tell me about places of interest and vegetarian restaurants. As I was settling in I was pleased to find a rose on the kitchen table with chocolate covered almonds and a rose petal on the bed.
The description was 100% accurate - beautiful quiet studio near Santa Fe. This was exactly what I was looking for. The studio was very private and neighbors were just the right distance from it.
Everything about staying at Jolanda's studio was about as perfect as you could ask or wish for. The studio is beautiful and located with a lovely view of the mountains. There is a sense of peace that permeates the studio. Jolanda made sure we had everything we needed including a notebook of recommended restaurants, books on New Mexico, and a letter on how to use different features of the studio. She is wonderful, meeting us as we drove in, and even putting some yogurt in the refrigerator for us because we arriving late. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Santa Fe.
One of the best Airbnb experiences ever! Jolanda was an amazing host. Not only did she provide us with an amazing place to stay, but her recommendations really made our stay in Santa Fe a great one. The casita is in a very quiet, serene area - away from all the craziness of city life, yet close enough to it. If we ever head back to Santa Fe, we'll definitely be staying here again.

About the Host, Jolanda
I have been living in New Mexico since 1993 but was born and raised in the Netherlands. I live just outside of Santa Fe in a passive solar house on about 1 1/2 acres. The studio is on the same property but has no shared walls with the house and is very private. My favorite place to be is right here at home where every day feels like a vacation. I'm a hospice nurse, Ayurvedic massage therapist and yoga teacher. I love to garden, hike, soak in natural hot springs and practice natural medicine and way of living. I enjoy having guests staying at the studio and guiding them to cultural, spiritual and natural destinations, whether off the beaten path or well known. I also love creating a space where people can retreat from the world, relax and take in the beauty of this inspiring high desert.
