Myself and two friends stayed with Jim last Saturday night. We were attending a wedding in Gorey, which was only 10 mins down the road in a taxi. House was perfect for our needs, room was clean and spacious as was the en-suite bathroom. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed (lots of coffee the morning after the wedding).
Would definitely stay again if I was in that part of the country.
After meeting James and his wife, who are really nice people, we had the entire big house all for us (My friend Clémence and I). Everything was okay except my problem of network.
Our family of 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby stayed in a beautiful spacious attic room in Jim's house for one night last week. Jim was very easy to correspond with and prompt with his replies. He and Gemma were there to meet us and they were friendly and welcoming, making sure that we had enough space for the little ones.
The house is absolutely beautiful, and Courtown and Gorey were very easy to visit from there by car. There were a number of other people staying in the house also and they were all friendly and chatty.
The only downer on our stay was that it rained when we went to the beach, but that wasn't under Jim's control! We still managed to play on the beach once the rain passed :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Stayed with James on Friday before a cycle around Gorey - beautiful house and room. Taxi was approx 13euro from Gorey town at night. Woke up to the birds chirping outside lovely place!
