This is a small room in our Gorgeous Victorian House centrally located on a quiet, beautiful tree-lined street. Our house is warm and peaceful with great atmosphere.
This room has a Queen Bed, full closet for hanging your clothes and two chests of drawers/night tables for storing your clothes. There is a comfy chair in the room as well so you can enjoy reading or relaxing in your room. Windows open and we have airconditioning in the summer months.
Our house is close to Little Italy (5 mins), Kensington Market (10mins), Queen St W. (15 mins), Bloor St.(5 mins), Ossington (15 mins), and University of Toronto (15 mins). There are dozens of amazing restaurants, cafes and bars nearby on Harbord, College, Bloor and Ossington.
We are close to streetcars (3 minute walk to both College and Bathurst streetcars) and Subway (5 min walk to the Bloor/Bathurst station).
We offer wireless internet. We have a fabulous cappuccino machine (JURA) and lots of tea choices available to you at any time. And you are more than welcome to store basic dry foods in our 'airbnb' drawer in the kitchen or perishables in the fridge.
We don't have parking at our home and in downtown Toronto you can't actually park on the street without a permit so we suggest parking in the underground parking lots (choice of two of them) at the end of our street.
Also you can get a temporary on-street parking permit if you apply to the following website:
Here is the content of the City of Toronto parking website:
Temporary on-street permit parking
You are in a secure site.
Provided space is available, a temporary parking permit may be purchased by residents and their guests to park a motor vehicle on a street designated under the permit parking program, at a cost of $19.18 per week, $8.19 per 24 hours or $12.28 per 48 hours, plus H.S.T. This program generally services those residential areas where driveways are not common.

Enter vehicle information and confirm that the application meets the requirements for obtaining a permit and acknowledge the conditions for use of the temporary parking permit.

Peace and quiet in a busy world awaits in this cozy room. An abundance of beautiful quilts, comfortable pillows, and a warm duvet adds to the experience and keeps me returning to this home away from home. Love the coffee!
Location is in a great place to be in if you don't plan on renting a car if you are from out of town. Streetcars are close by (2 blocks). The room itself was perfect for 2. House was beautiful and room & bathroom was clean. Stay had towels and toiletries even; just like a hotel stay! Loved this BnB and would definitely stay again!
séjour très apprécié dans une maison typique (website hidden)ès propre, chambre très agréable et lit très douillet.
The room was clean and tidy and very convent for the university of Toronto and for downtown.
Very quite neighborhood and easy to find.
Vicki and Richard are AirBnB pros - the reviews speak for themselves. The house is lovely, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The room was very nice.
I like the neighbourhood they're in and would recommend it to anyone staying for business or pleasure).
I was in Toronto on business and know the city relatively well. I stayed one night, and would definitely stay there again.
It was great to stay with Vicki. The room was clean and cozy, the house beautiful and the hosts really nice! It was easy to find the house and get around in the city. We would definitely come back!!!
This tiny room in a lovely Victorian style home is located in a great neighbourhood. It's central location is one of its greatest assets. Everything - College Avenue, Little Italy, Chinatown, transit lines - is within walking distance. Hosts Richard and Vicki were extremely generous in allowing me to roll out my yoga mat and go through my daily paces in the middle of their living room. The dog Indie, being very territorial, was not entirely keen on my invading his space but with soft words and an extended hand, would give me permission to roll around. Coffee machine produces a good cuppa. This is good value if you just require a place to crash at night.
Vicki and Richard's house is completely lovely.with all facilities you need.and is the perfect mix of being in a cosy home and having your own privacy as a (website hidden) was the first time with airbnb for me and my boyfriend and it was a pleasure through and through.great hosts, great bathroom, we could use the big kitchen anytime.Highly recommended!
Beautiful house, lovely room situated in a great location. Wonderful hosts who were most accommodating to our disagreeable arrival & departure times. Highly recommend as a place to stay & sleep.
We had the most wonderful time at Vicki's. We cannot think of anything negative about this stay! If you plan to visit Toronto don't hesitate contact Vicki asap.
