Clean and private bedroom in the heart of Williamsburg Brooklyn right off of Bedford Ave. It sleeps up to 2 people comfortably and has easy access to major subway lines.
I'm subletting a room in my 2 b/r apartment in the heart of Williamsburg Brooklyn. Perfect for someone visiting NYC that can't afford to stay in a hotel or wants more of a "real" New York experience.
I own a kitten named king tubby aka tubs. he's very friendly and adorable. i hope you're not allergic to him.
The apartment has hardwood floors throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, common area, 1 bathroom and the rooftop is accessible.
The room sleeps 2 comfortably, has a large window with a private fire escape, freshly painted walls, french doors, a full size bed, night stand, large closet and extra overhead storage.
The neighborhood is very safe, super convenient and VERY popular! There are tons of stores, boutiques, restaurants, bars and music venues all within walking distance.
There are 2 train stations both less than 10 minutes away, the Bedford Ave. L line and the Marcy Ave. J/M/Z lines. There is also a bus stop around the corner and the Williamsburg bridge is just 3 blocks away. It takes less than 1/2 hr to walk to Manhattan.
I've been living in NYC for about 8 years and have been in this apartment for alomst 6. I'm very familiar with the city/neighborhood and am more than happy to give you any help, recommendations, directions etc..
I look forward to hosting you :)
You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, the common area, fire escape and rooftop.
Williamsburg is by far the most popular neighborhood in brooklyn with loads of awesome bars, music venues, shops, cafe's and restaurants. The waterfront (east river park) is my personal favorite.
There are 2 subway stations both in equal walking distance as well as 2 bus stops just one block away.
no shoes on in the apartment.
clean up after yourself.
my bedroom is off limits.
Francis was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, I had to leave early (and didn't even get to explore the neighbourhood), but he was understanding.
The apartment has a lot of character, and the bed is comfortable.
Please note that the space smells strongly of smoke - anyone who is sensitive to that should look for a smoke-free place.
Amazing location right next to Bedford and a couple blocks from the waterfront. A cozy chill space, though not the cleanest or fancy, gives you the comfort of feeling like you're staying at your friends place and don't need to be tiptoeing around or wash your cup right away. Francis wasn't around much but when he was, he was welcoming and friendly, inviting us to whatever he was up to that night and making us feel right at home.
We had a great stay at Francis apartment, the bed and pillows were comfortable and Francis was very friendly. The apartment was a short walk from the subway, 3 stops from Manhattan.
Without doubt Francis' place is in a great location. Minutes away from everything you need in Williamsburg. Francis is a friendly and helpful host and it's a shame we didn't get to hang out with him more, but we did get to hang with King Tubby, his sweet cat! Shower is great, kitchen is clean, bed is fine.
Francis was traveling himself when we arrived, but he had a friend waiting in the apartment to hand us the keys. The location of the apartment is perfect, just 20 seconds from Bedford Ave and a four minute walk to the East River with a great view on the Manhattan skyline. Francis is a nice guy and cat King Tubby is just adorable. We had a great time in NYC!
Francis was absent, but roomed me.
His friend coped instead.
His friend was very kind.
Because I stayed at the house which went for the first time, I was tense, but was able to be relaxed very much.
Manhattan arrives by a subway immediately.
In addition, Williamsburg was a wonderful town.
And,Tubby of the cat was a really wonderful cat.
It is the room where I can recommend a cat to a favorite person very much！
I am a laid back 33 year old Japanese/American male from Honolulu Hawaii that owns a kitten named King Tubby. My life revolves around music and NYC nightlife. I dj/throw parties as often as possible (usually 2 or 3 times a month). I'm super easy to get along with, tolerant and respect one's personal space very much.
-your friend in brooklyn. Francis :)
