About This Listing
Loft conversion in London
A beautiful loft conversion in an old Jam Factory, Hartley's Jam.
Open plan apartment. The property consists of one very large double bedroom, and a big open area divided into kitchen, studio area, dining area and chill out area with a pull out sofa (so could fit up to 4 people).
There is a flat screen TV an Bose sound system (no TV aerial but a shelf full of DVDs and CDs). Free WIFI.
There's also a Juliette balcony with beautiful views of Tower Bridge and the Shard. There is a large bathroom with a bath and shower.
The building features a common area with garden and playground as well as a 24h porter and an Intercom. The apartment faces on to a private courtyard and is quiet and secure.
The apartment is near the famous Borough Market - which is London's most renowned food markets - and the Maltby Street Market, as well as Bermondsey Antique Market.
Tower Bridge and London Bridge are a short walk away and you're also near More London and the river Thames.
The nearest underground stations are London Bridge - for the Northern and Jubilee line (direct connection to the Stratford Olympic Park) - and Borough - for the Northern Line. There are also many buses from the area to different parts of London.
The area is very lively with many restaurants and cafes on Bermondsey Street (Zuca, Garrison, Jose, Pizarro) as well as the White Cube and Drawing Room art galleries. It is also walking distance to the Tate Modern.
Street parking available, London Barclays Cycle Hire just outside the building.

The location is awesome, the jam factory building is quite modern and sophisticated. Everyone knows the place so you get advice how to get there easily. The flat is loft styled or since it is ex factory buildings we should say it actually is a loft. There are all the facilities with high quality and comfort in the apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped that why we'd recommend this option for one who like cooking and wish to enjoy great grocery shopping from the Borough market (nearby). The tv screen is small but who does need any tv while staying in the middle of the London's vibrant life!
Finally you can see the Shard from the place's windows.
Regarding to a host, well the host Coca is literally superhost! Attentive and friendly. We felt like staying at our friend's home. Thanks!!!
This is a stunning apartment in a great location. We really enjoyed staying here! We rented Coca's place for a week and it's spacious and extremely well equiped, which was wonderful as we cooked at home frequently.
Coca has great taste and everything in the apartment is of excellent quality. She was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to questions. Her brochure pack was super useful full of maps and transport and restaurant advice.
Bermondsey St has changed a lot since we lived in London and it's a terrific place to go out now, with lots of great restaurants and cafes and little boutiques. We had amazing meals at two places Coca recommended. The area maintains a chilled out vibe, which is in contrast to the (quite fun) mayhem of London Bridge nearby.
We hope to be back sometime soon!
Fue muy buena la experiencia . El departamento es hermoso e impecable , todos los detalles cuidadosamente elegidos para hacer sentir calidez y comodidad. Esto habla de la anfitriona. El barrio nos encanto , galerías restaurantes etc
We had a great week at Coca's flat at the old Jam Factory. The flat was comfortable, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Coca welcomed us with flowers and left many goodies for us to eat and drink which we greatly appreciated. She was quick to answer questions and fix any issues. The flat was a quick walk to the Tower Bridge or to The Shard and is located in a residential area which is great if you do not wish to be around tourists all day and night. We would highly recommend Coca's flat and would not hesitate to stay again.
Coca is a wonderful host, and her flat is beautiful and well appointed. Highly recommend staying here on your next trip to London.
Coca's apartment was a really cool space in an old Jam Factory. It was about a 15 min walk to the nearest tube station...a little far for a quick few days in London. Location may be more ideal for longer stays. A decent amount of recommendations was left for us. Maltby Market was super cool and we wish we has spent more time there. Coca had left coffee and scones for us which was awesome! And the coffee was delicious! Thanks Coca!
