  • I had a lovely trip to Montreal and Gail was a very kind and helpful host. My room was larger than my studio apartment and the bed was quite comfortable. The location was walking distance to the Papineau metro station and the Village. Can't beat the price either.

  • We stayed at Gail's apartment for 2 nights. The evening before our arrival, we writing messages to people why rent out rooms in Montreal. Gail was the first who answered and even though it was such a short notice everything worked out perfect. The apartment is literately "Airbnb" - rented out for Airbnb only, so you get to meet a lot of different people. It is great. Also, the location is very nice, central but not so central that everything around is overpriced. We went to times to the Portuguese restaurant in front of the apartment because the atmosphere is just so nice there.

  • I stayed in Montreal for only 9 days, but I spent an amazing time there thanks to Gail.

The apartment is very clean and well located (only 5 minutes walk to the Papineau Metro station)

Don't hesitate a second and choose it for your stay in Montreal.

  • The accommodations are nostalgic of hostel-like conditions, where multiple individuals share communal spaces together. Each room is private and my experiences of interaction with the other tenants was mostly in passing. Gail is friendly and warm-hearted. Her prompt response time and ability to act quickly helped make my stay as comfortable as possible. The lodging communal spaces are in style of a boarding home, so guests should expect an adventurous stay.

  • We stayed here in one of the larger rooms for 3 weeks over christmas. We arrived late but Gale agreed to meet us, however we beat her to the flat so someone else had to let us in. The other guests we're really friendly and welcoming too. The room was large, warm and nice. The bathroom was a bit rusty but manageable and the kitchen was a bit worn but we made do. Gale was very busy but when we managed to see her she was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. For the price this place was great.

  • Goede kwaliteit prijsverhouding. No nonsense onderkomen. Locatie redelijk, Kamer ruim, wel beetje gehorig. Alle kamers komen uit op een gang, die weer leidt naar de (enige) WC/ badkamer. Voor dat geld kan je weinig klagen.

  • The room I stayed in at Gail's place was nice and quiet which suited my needs nicely. I only met her once on my stay as I came in but she made sure the room was clean and the bed had fresh linen. Towels were also provided which was really nice! The location is quite nice, really close to the subway. Would recommend.

  • First off, the room was not cleaned at all before or after I arrived. The sheets were the same used ones from the previous guest. One of the other guests had a huge party with about 20 people on the first Saturday I was there. They were yelling and playing music till early in the morning which kept me up. The other guests were noisy which also kept me up a lot. Also, there were mice in my room and they chewed through and destroyed some of my stuff which I ended up having to throw out. Also, the box spring on my bed was broken and the door wouldn't shut properly (needed to be sanded down or something since it was hitting the door frame). Someone came to sand down the door a bit but when he did, he covered all of my belongings (clothes, food, cameras, computer, etc...) in saw dust from the sander.
Needless to say, I will not be staying here again.

  • the room was big and quite clean. the location was great. I didn't meet Gail. The kitchen is old and not really clean, probably due to the people there that don't pay attention to that. However, I enjoyed my staying.
