Beautiful house, decorated with a lot of taste. Everything worked perfectly. It was a dream fulfilled to be able to spend a week in such a place. Paulina, the house manager was very attentive thought our stay and helpful though an unforeseen emergency we experienced during our stay. This is a general comment about San Miguel and not the house per se, but for those unfamiliar who are driving, be aware there are a lot of tall speed bumps on top of the cobbled streets that make driving and getting to and from the house somewhat of a challenge. More than once I feared losing my muffler on one of those bumps when going with a car full of passengers and their luggage.

Cate & Judson (and their surrogates) are the perfect hosts. The San Miguel house has so many beautiful features inside and out--We appreciated the architecture & decorations--both elegantly created with an artists' eye. We especially loved the vistas of the city at sunrise & sunset. Each day during our stay, we saw delights such as hot air balloons, hummingbirds, and fireworks from the upstairs balcony.

Everything about this home was better than we expected. It is very tastefully decorated and has more than enough space for two or more persons. It is in a residential neighborhood with wonderful views of San Miguel yet you can easily reach the center of town by walking or via bus or cab. Although not in San Miguel, Cate & Judson were readily available by email and their property manager, Paulina, was very welcoming and helpful. They also provided the services of a proficient housekeeper. We are two artists who came for the month of February to produce work for an upcoming show. The studio on the top floor was excellent for our purposes with amazing light. We would highly recommend this home and miss it already.

Response from Cate & Judson:
We loved your private responce“I liked that we weren't in the central area which was a little too touristy. Being in a neighborhood made the experience more real. Having a studio was fantastic!” Thank you for appreciating what we think is two of the best features of this property-the location and a private art studio! We look forward to your return!

The property was as described on the website but even better in person. It's a very lovely home. Very clean. We got in later than expected but Cate was patiently waiting for us. She is a very sweet person. Anything we needed she was right there for us. The town of San Miguel is wonderful. I would recommend staying here if you are thinking about coming to San Miguel. Thanks for everything!!!

There is nothing like a good surprise. Cate and Judson´s place combines a great taste in Mexican arquitecture with the taste of two unique Artists. Considering that the location is a little out of the action, your first impression can be confusion, since this is a case in which a new development is in an area that still has low income residents. The bedroom and the bath are beautiful and in excellent conditions. Regarding Cate and Judson, I can share several nice details that made my visit to SMA unforgettable. Now I have a place that I feel as home and a couple of new friends that I see as Family.
