Interaction with Guests
I live not too far away so I can be there in a jiffy if need be.
From Shibuya’s 109 building, along Omotesando Hills to Harajuku’s Takeshita dori, this extensive area is without doubt the centre of Tokyo’s fashion and pop-culture. Next to Shibuya Station you can find one of the most famous pedestrian crossings in the world, which has been featured in many movies such as "Lost in Translation."
Many famous luxury brands have established their flagship stores in the glamourous Aoyama and Omotesando districts. If you prefer exquisite Japanese craftsmanship, the Oriental Bazaar is no doubt the No.1 choice. From fine porcelain to unique hand-woven articles, you name it, they've got it.
If you are looking for something more alternative, Harajuku is the place to go. Here is where Tokyo's fashion-conscious generation gathers and the Design Festa Gallery can be found. On Sundays you can take a break from shopping to see amateur bands and dancers in nearby Yoyogi Park as well.
Shibuya is serviced by the Yamanote loop line as well as several subway lines. It is very easy to get to any part of Tokyo from Shibuya.
Yoyogi park- 10 min walk
Harajuku- 12 min walk
Shinjuku- 7 min (Yamanote line)
Ginza- 15 min (Ginza line)
Asakusa- 30 min (Ginza line)
Akihabara- 25 min (Yamanote line)
Tokyo sky tree- 30 min (Hanzomon line to Oshiage station)

Jay was very nice and helpful while the place was exactly as it was described.
There was some happenings. But my stay at Jason's room was great. The room is cozy but well-equipped. Jason is very nice. When I told him the kettle didn't work well, he came and changed a new one. All in all, it's a happy experience.
Great location and good value. Jay communicated quickly and was very helpful. I recommend this location, just know that you'll need to be pretty close friends to fit four people.
Jays apartment was in a great, central location, only about a 4 minute walk to Shibuya crossing and the station. It was a perfect base for us to explore all of Tokyo. Jay communicated well before and during our stay and made sure we had an easy and enjoyable stay.
Jay was an awesome host, responsive and answered every email I sent within 10 minutes. The place was exactly as described and I can't say enough about the location, it was in the middle of Shibuya and literally a 5 minute walk from everything in the city. It was relatively easy to find thanks to Jay's walk through and we had no trouble going in and out of the building. The room was also nice and had everything we needed for our stay. An additional bonus is the portable wifi which is a life saver for those travelling in Tokyo and that are unfamiliar with the area. Having the ability to (website hidden) Map locations and look up reviews on places was a great benefit. If I go back to Tokyo in the future I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Jay's apartment is situated at a very good location. It's just a five minute walk from the train station. The apartment is cozy and clean. The pocket wifi provided is very handy when it's comes to navigating in Tokyo
This was one of the best Airbnb experience I've had. Jay's place was nice, clean, and incredibly close to the Shibuya station (everything so convenient!). Jay was incredibly responsive and gave us clear instructions on how to check-in and check-out. Furthermore, Jay went above and beyond during our stay. He allowed us early check-in and late check-out, as well as delivered a package for us that we needed to receive while we were at our Airbnb stay. Everything when very well and smoothed. I would recommend this place for anyone traveling to Tokyo!
