Enjoy the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota in our cozy camper! Whether you are looking for a serene and restful getaway amongst big pine trees and wildlife, or looking to have an adventurous time with the fun-filled activities that the Black Hills has to offer... we hope our cozy camper will provide you with a sense of home away from home.

The space
Our camper has been remodeled to give our guests a sense of home away from home. It is like a tiny home on wheels! The camper is parked on our serene & peaceful property, surrounded by big pine trees and wildlife, in Custer, South Dakota. Enjoy your morning coffee in the company of chirping birds and wild deer that sometimes come to visit. And if you are lucky, you might even spot an elk or two!

With U.S. Forest Service land behind the property, hiking is right at your doorstep! Biking, golfing or horseback riding are just some of the other activities you can also do. Beautiful lakes for swimming and fishing are nearby too, which are great for little kids and families. In the evenings, you wouldn’t want to miss the spectacular sunsets.

The camper is parked in a quiet and secluded spot, just down some gravel road... yet it is only 10 minutes from the main street of Custer town. The quaint little town comes alive in the Summer with boutique shops and restaurants. Grab a mouth-watering buffalo burger from the famous Black Hills Burger & Bun Co. or enjoy a dessert from the Purple Pie Place!

Our parents are our co-hosts and they also run their own Airbnb cabin on the adjacent property and we share a driveway. While you may see a car or two drive out, our camper is parked strategically and far away enough so that it still feels secluded and has its own private space. This also means that if you couldn't reach us for some reason, our parents are also available to help with any issues or questions you may have, during your stay. Being locals, they have a wealth of information regarding the Black Hills and the surrounding areas!

Our camper is conveniently located to many popular tourist attractions like:
- Mount Rushmore National Memorial
- Crazy Horse Memorial
- Custer State Park
- Slyvan Lake
- Mickelson Trail
- Needles Eye
- Jewel Cave
- Wind Cave
- Old MacDonald’s Farm
- Cosmos Mystery Area
- Bear Country USA
- Reptile Garden

Guest access
You will have a private entrance, your own parking space and full access to the camper. It is a great space for a couple or a family (max 2 adults & 2 young children).

There is one bedroom with a queen bed, and a sofa bed that lays flat into an XL twin size bed. The sofa bed will comfortably fit 2 young children or an adult.

The kitchen is well equipped with basic utensils, toaster, kettle and has standard appliances in a camper like a fridge & freezer, gas stove, and microwave. The dining table can be extended to comfortably sit 4 people. There is even a coffee and tea station for you to enjoy.

The living area has a TV and DVD player with a small collection of family friendly movies, in case of the occasional rain storm. There is NO WIFI internet at the moment, which could be an opportunity for you to truly relax and enjoy nature without any distractions. You are welcome to bring your own DVDs or HDMI cables to connect your own devices to the TV.

There is a bathroom and flushable toilet. There is hot water supply, but as this is a camper, we recommend quick showers (military-style) to conserve water.

We provide all linen and towels but they will not be changed during your stay, unless arranged prior for long stays.

Other things to note
Please remember that this is a camper.... there are amenity limitations - Limited hot water. Limited electrical power. The electric box will trip/fuse easily if there are too many things plugged in... the electricity in a camper is not as strong as in a house.

Please note that there is about 2.5 miles of wide, 2-lane gravel road leading onto the property.

There is NO WIFI internet and limited cell service reception.

There are a few stairs up into the camper and 2 stairs into the bedroom.

There is a welcome booklet in the camper with instructions on how to operate specific appliances (especially for those unfamiliar with camper/RV living) - please have a quick read... we hope you will find that useful!

The oven is not working at the moment, but the gas stove cooktop is fully functional.

If you have infants or very young children, we can arrange to include a pack-and-play crib (or porta-cot) and a high chair if needed. Please just let us know when you are making the booking.

As this camper is set on private property, we ask that you respect that and keep the area clean and the camper clean, so that other people can enjoy the space too.

Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $150.

Last but not least, we hope you enjoy your stay and have a wonderful time! :)
