Hi I am joanne and i live in a 3 bedroom house on the northside of the city. I work full time as a Social Worker in the area of Family Mediation.
My house is situated close enough to the city centre about a 20 minute bus journey or if you wanted to cycle in around 25- minutes depending on your fitness levels! I live in a residential area with shops, supermarkets, parks and restaurants close by. I live close to the Botanic Gardens and close enough to the Phoenix park. The bus that you take into town leaves you at Trinity College and stones throw from the main shopping area which is Grafton Street
This is a small room available and suitable for SHORT STAYS. I also have another room that i rent through Air BnB that is more spacious. The room in question is small but cosy with a comfy single bed. It has a small wardrobe, a full length mirror, a locker with drawers and a small desk and a chair. It is a box room so it may not suit people who are used to space and want to stay more than a week or so.
My house has a dining room, living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom that is shared. It has a nice back garden that you might like to sit out in when it's warm. It also has free WI FI
I am used to having a lot of people come and go from all walks of life so i think i'm pretty easygoing and open minded at this stage. I don't have many rules except to be respectful and clean as you go. Other than that i would expect you to make yourself at home when you stay.
Although i do not provide breakfast as such, i have a variety of cereals and fruit that i ask people to help themselves to in the morning if they please.
Joanna was a very warm, welcoming host and I really enjoyed my time in Dublin thanks to her guidance and hospitality. The room is small but cozy, and the house is very open. Joanne was very helpful, even picking me up from the airport, explaining the bus system (EASILY accessed from the house), and recommending things to do. I'm happy to have met Joanne and hope to see her again someday! All the best! xx
Joanne delivers on everything she promises and then some. The accomodationds were completely warm, comfortable, and satisfying. Joanne was a completely delightful hostess with all the information needed to enhance your stay in Dublin. I would stay here again and recommend you stay here also. Joanne Happy New Year.

Joanne was a great host and it was a pleasure to stay in her lovely house. The room was small and nice, and just perfect for my requirements as I only stayed for few days. The neighbourhood is peaceful. The location is great, as it's near the airport and also one bus from the house go direct to the city centre. She has a nice personality and full of smiles. I had a great experience staying with Joanne and recommend her to other guests.
Joanne was a warm and welcoming host. I had the flu when I was staying with her and she went out of her way to make me feel at home and comfy. She had great information and the room was exactly what the photos say. She even went out of her way to drive me to my next destination after leaving her. I would 100% recommend her, for all travelers.
Joanne is a great host. She is very helpful in providing information on how to make the best out of your stay in the city. Her warm hospitality is really wonderful. Her place is well-connected to the city center by bus. I definitely recommend Joanne as a host.
I had an absolutely lovely stay with Joanne. The room was very small but comfortable and every bit as described. The bathroom and house were clean and tidy.
Joanne was a lovely host, going out of her way to make me feel welcome and to give me directions wherever I needed to go. I would definitely stay there again.
Joanne is a wonderful hostess, she is extremely friendly and willing to take the extra step. I learned a lot about Dublin and Ireland while talking to her over a cup of tea, and she gave me great tips where to go. Her house is in Finglas, which is about 15min driving distance from the airport. The bus stops right in front of the house and takes you to the city centre in about 30 minutes. The single room is petite, very comfortable and lovingly decorated. Thanks Joanne for the great stay!
I stayed for 2 nights at Joanne's house and it was really superb! :) Joanne is a very amiable person who made me feel like home at her house. The room is nice & cosy and the bathroom big & clean. She has prepared all necessary information for a pleasant stay and was very helpful with recommendations what to see and where to go. The bus leaves just in front of her house and takes you in about 20 minutes to the city center. If you go by car you can find a place to park it on the street in front of the house and it takes just a few minutes to reach the airport. I would definitely stay again at Joanne's house and I would highly recommend her place to everybody who wants to have a good and quiet sleep after a day in the busy center of Dublin.
