Interaction with Guests
I live in the appartment, and work from my home office in a separate quarter of the appartment. The guest corner is pretty quiet and remote, so you should'nt be afraid of a lack of privacy.I usually keep to myself, but am also a sociable host and happy to interact with my guests if they want to.
When you arrive, I will give you a key and key card for 24 hour access to the apartment, gym and outdoor lounge, and other common areas of the building.

The house is exactly as pictured and is absolutely gorgeous and well located. Stephane was very accommodating host - I checked-in really late, needed to run a load of laundry, some ironing and also needed to book a car back to the airport. Stephane helped me with all of that. Am definitely staying here again.
We had such a wonderful stay! The apartment had everything we wanted with amazing views and easy access to restraunts, bars, supermarkets and the subway! Our favourite thing was coming back after a busy day in New York to the relaxing environment of the apartment we also loved the privacy we had! Although we did not see Stephane much, he was easy to contact over email throughout our stay and everything we needed was already there! Would definitely recommend staying here
Stephane, the perfect gentleman host, greeted us with a smile and allowed us to share his magnificent apartment for 3 days. The views of the Manhatten skyline were amazing and provided great photographs both in the day and at night.
Unfortunately, he could not control the New York weather, which proved to be too cold and wet for us to venture out until our last day!
Breakfasts are not provided (an expectation in Australian B&Bs) and the selection of English breakfasts is non-existant in that area of Brooklyn. Lunches not much better, except Energy Fuel, which provided excellent options and quality food. At night, dinner options were plentiful and the variety and quality of food at a reasonable price gave us many choices.
A slight drawback is the distance to the Underground (& blocks to the Blue Line - Manhattan train line); although belatedly we discovered another option of the B54 bus along Maple Ave to Brooklyn Heights and then many options for bus or train travel to all parts of New York.
Given the riders above, we had a VERY enjoyable stay with a most enjoyable and interesting host.
Bruce I am so sorry about your disappointment about not finding the English breakfast you wanted. I decided not to offer breakfast at the house, because, well there are many options in the neighborhood ( I am going to update the guide part of my listing so that all these places be listed in the guide, with their hours of opening for breakfast, lunch), but also because I wanted to offer a competitive price for travellers who want to be in a very comfortable and roomy space while paying a pricetag more reasonable than in Manhattan. And with regards to the distance with the subway, you are right, the blue line station is not the closest, still it is a 17-20 minutes walk, but the closest station, the green line is 8 minutes away. Anyway, you probably had not seen this information in the "location" part of my listing. Thank you for mentioning the bus B54 line, I will add it to my listing. Thank you for your nice review, happy travels !
Staying with Stephane was incredible. The apartment is located at a very nice neighborhood in Brooklyn with at 15 min to the nearest Subway station. The room has an incredible view and is nicely decorated/furnished. Everything was uncomplicated and I enjoyed my stay with Stephane.
We absolutely loved our stay at Stephane's place. Stephane is a very welcoming host and made us feel at ease. The flat is within 5 minutes walk away from the G line. The bedroom is spacious and offers all the amenities of a good hotel room. The bathroom is clean and modern. Thanks to the layout of the flat, the guest corner has privacy which is appreciated. One of the best features of this listing has to be the balcony and the view of Manhattan at night! After a long day walking, it was a blessing to just relax there. Stephane was very discreet and we only saw him twice. Stephane always replied promptly each time we contacted him which was very comforting. We highly recommend Stephane's place.
