The Space

Il Monolocale is a 45 m2 studio and sits on the ridge that separates, at its narrowest point, the two gulfs of Naples and Salerno. It can host up to 4 people and has a large shared garden and private terrace offering marvellous views. Il Monolocale has private parking, and also offers a range of convenient additional facilities. Il Monolocale is built on a hillside and has a carefully tended garden filled with flowers and laid out over a number of levels. You can take a stroll through the terrace where you can enjoy and admire the superb view. Il Monolocale sits in a sunny position and offers the utmost peace and quiet.
The star attraction of the apartment is undoubtedly the terrace overlooking the Naple's Bay and the Vesuvio. Il Monolocale also offers easy access to a network of paths of various difficulty marked out around the area. These paths run along the top of the mountains of the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts, amid cliffs that drop sharply down to the sea and breathtaking scenery. If you enjoy walking in the mountains, this is just the place for a heavenly holiday! We recommend bringing or hiring a car if you intend to stay at Il Monolocale. You can park inside the gate.

Il Monolocale offers one double bed, a confortable double sofa bed, one bath with shower, a kitchenette and plenty of space outdoors. The floor of the living area features characteristic ceramic tiles. The cosy furnishings include a TV, a double sofa bed and a sofa. The sleeping area on the mezzanine (at a height of 1.9 metres) features a double bed and a spacious wardrobe. The kitchen, which looks onto the living room, is equipped with two gas rings, a fridge freezer, an Italian coffee maker and a range of other small household appliances. The living area leads out through 2 windows onto the terrace, from where you can enjoy views of the sea and the (website hidden) II.: Note: From 1 April to 31 October the Municipal Council of Massa Lubrense has instituted a mandatory tourist tax on all temporary residents.
The tourist tax must be added to the total amount of stay and has to be pay cash at the arrival.

  • Endroit plutot agreable avec belle vue sur la baie.

Cependant frais et humide en hors saison, car le convertisseur ne suffit pas a suffisamment bien chauffer le volume de l appartement.

  • The Feeling Italy Team is really fantastic. They were so easy to communicate with. They met us to check in and had many great suggestions and resources (Make sure you eat at Mimi's in St. Agata!!). They were so nice!
The apartment was perfectly clean, bed comfortable, great kitchen and amazing amazing view. Parking is inside a locked gate and the neighborhood is very quiet-you're looking across a little valley at orchards and farms.
A few hundred yards back down the road is a short stairwell accessing the stone path that goes all the way down to Sorrento (45 min walk) or up to St. Agata (5 min). What a great little town. We loved the markets, Bleu Moon and Roxy Cafe.
Vegetarian organic market and cafe in Sorrento called Mondo Bio was a great oasis. Also enjoyed Pizzeria Franco (wow) the Ulysse Spa and Thermal Baths. Sorrento is wonderful. And go to Capri!
It's an easy drive to the Amalfi Coast (Positano was our favorite) and the place was so nice we would have been happy basing here to go up to Pompeii and Vesuvius instead of closer to Naples. We stayed an extra night.
Note: Our GPS was a bit lost finding the place-it thought it was lower down the hill. Keep going, its just a few bends in the road before the Due Golfi Grand Hotel, pretty far up there.

  • Great staff. Pietro and Sergio were very pleasant and extremely helpful.
The apartment is very clean, Decor very modern & stylish - full of light and relaxing. Nice apartment with everything you need. Great location to reach Sorrento and other towns on both side of the gulfs. Great view to the Naple's Bay and the Vesuvio from the terrace. It is realy “ Feeling Italy”
    We highly recommend this B&B.

  • Great location to reach other towns on both side of the gulfs. Apartment is clean, bright, with AC and wifi. It came with a BBQ on which we had a wonderful dinner one night. Chris was very helpful, arranging the boat trip to Capri, and the boat rental.
We enjoyed our stay greatly. The town S.Agata sui Due Golfi was a gem.
We will recommend this place to others who will travel around the Amalfi coast.

  • We had a very nice time at the studio. The area is amazing, location is perfect to do day visits to all nearby places, the place is relaxing, nice, super clean, the people at Feeling Italy (the company that owns the studio), very attentive and with many plans to offer.
Very recommendable, as well as "Il Panorama" a nearby restaurant on the road going to Sorrento :)

  • Feeling Italy, the company that rents out these lofts, did a wonderful job of welcoming us. They showed us around S. Agata, the town the apartment is closest to (in between Sorrento and Marina Cantone), and there was a welcome basket of goods for us in the apartment. The apartment is located at Via Nastro Verde, 4 (not at 19 as it's listed), which is a quiet street/area. You get a nice view of the Gulf of Naples too. Feeling Italy helped us book our excursion to Capri, as well. We had a lovely stay on the Sorrentine peninsula! Thank you!

  • Nice and clean appartment. Some animal sounds in the area. Every morning we got woken up by a rooster. The appartment is more close to Saint'agata than Massa Lubrense; nice to know when driving by GPS. Piero was a great host.

  • Very nice apartment with everything you need. The view is breathtaking. The apartment is not owned by a private person but by a company called feeling italy, and they were very helpful with arranging trips and answering our questions.
