Beautiful, extremely spacious home located in the heart of the vineyards. We had a lovely stay. The place is very clean and perfect place to stay after a beautiful day of wine tasting.
We had an amazing stay at Jeri's wonderful home. Her husband greeted us and gave us a tour of the rental, while Jeri was out picking up a futon mattress to make better accommodations for two of our friends who stayed with us - which we really appreciated! They were both very warm and so helpful. They struck the perfect note of letting us know they were available should we need anything, yet giving us total privacy in the meantime. The home itself was perfect and just as advertised. The kitchen is fully stocked and very roomy (which is great because people always seem to congregate there), and there were snacks and coffee available for us (they have a Keurig coffee pot with pods, yum!) The living room is inviting and comfortable, with ample seating. We even did a fire in the fireplace on New Year's Eve, which was wonderful and cozy with the snow (it snowed!) Even though the house has central heating and air, they purchased extra floor heaters to make sure that the main rooms were nice and toasty. The bedrooms were huge, and the decor is clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire home was very clean. The bathrooms were fully stocked (thank goodness, because I forgot to pack shampoo and conditioner), and very clean. The exterior is lovely - the rental home is just next to Jeri's organic garden, and to the back of the house are their grape vines (ask them about their grapes and wine - it's a fun story). The grounds are beautiful (they are amazing gardeners), and very spacious. It was very cold, so we didn't spend much time outside in the sitting area, but the little private yard was adorable. The internet connection worked perfectly, and their instructions are easy to follow. Their requests for cleanup and such are very simple, and can all be found in their packet of info near the door. They are truly gracious and lovely hosts, and the home is impeccable - the perfect place to stay for a group to go wine tasting and have a relaxing vacation. We were all very happy that we stayed here - and would happily do so again.
This is a great place! It is cozy. Beautiful. Quiet. Host Jeri was awesome, making sure we had everything we needed. I would stay again!
This is such a wonderful location for any wine country and nature enthusiast. The house is very homely so you'll have no trouble settling down or if you feel like staying in for the night. There are 2 wineries with in walking distance. There's a fireplace ready to burn some logs and enjoy you night by a warm fire. A stocked kitchen for what ever you might want to cook or a market down the street to get fancy. We will be coming back as soon as we can.
Our week long stay was great. Jeri and Ted were wonderful hosts always available if we had questions, but otherwise giving us our privacy.
The location is wonderful with sights of hot air balloons each morning and server all wineries very close. We enjoyed several evenings on the back patio watching the sun set overlooking a small vineyard.
We were pleasantly surprised by a very well stocked kitchen. We had a fantastic week enjoying the area. Thanks Jeri and Ted!
The description is accurate. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind and relax. We had the BEST time.
Thank you Stacy for your great compliment. We are glad that you enjoyed our stay. We love to have you, your boy friend and your friends back to stay at our place any time. Thank you for being a good group of guests and left our place in good condition. Best Regards, Jeri & Ted Maier
Jeri was a very welcoming and accommodating host. It was my birthday and she left a card and bottle of wine for me. Her property was beautiful and very clean. My friends and I had a wonderful time and look forward to a return trip to Jeri's villa. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Temecula area. Exceeded our expectations.

We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to live in the midst of the Temecula Wine Country behind Monte De Oro and Wilson Creek wineries. The views of the 200+ acres vineyards, the mountains, and the valleys in front of our home are spectacular. We are a couple of world travelers, free spirit, friendly with positive outlook in life. We both used to live and worked in the SF Bay area and moved to Temecula 14 years ago. Jeri earned an MS in Systems Management and worked in IT for High Tech companies for 35+ years. Ted worked in Engineering, Design and Construction Mngt. We love people and love to go places. We have 2 vacation homes at our compound. The Cottage is a two stories building with one bedroom w/ a queen size bed and a bath downstairs. The upstairs bedroom has two twin beds. The living space upstairs is comprised of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, a bar and a fully furnished living room with a big screen TV (with Verizon FIOS). Our second place is a 2 bedrooms 2 baths one story villa. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast area. A large living / dining room with a brick wood burning fireplace. The One Story Villa has a private fenced in backyard with a sliding glass door opens to it from the master bedroom. Come visit us in the Temecula Valley Wine Country, enjoy the area, taste the wines and stay at one of our places. It is a joy to share a taste of our country living life and to share the abundance of nature with our guests.
