The space is completely private and sleeps 3 comfortably. 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, deck with rocking chairs, pull out sofa and wifi.
This comfortable space is tucked in the trees in our backyard, allowing you to feel completely secluded from us and our neighbors. At the same time, we're just steps away if you have any questions about the space or the Asheville area.
We are about a mile from Haywood Road in West Asheville. Music venues, bakeries, coffee shops, bars, great restaurants, boutique shops, record store, vintage garb, grocery and so much more. Downtown is a direct shot down Patton Ave. 10 minutes with a little traffic.
The nearest bus stop is less than a 5 minute walk away and although there are a lot of hills in Asheville, cyclists may find it's the best way to get around.
Hope we see you soon!
How many different ways can I say how much I loved this place. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and inviting. The neighborhood is awesome -- my daughter and I strolled through the neighborhood daily and enjoyed the mature trees, lovely gardens, and kind community. It is a great, central location for anything you would like to do in and around Asheville -- easy drives to West Asheville, RAD, and the downtown area. The owners are kind, friendly, professional, and prompt. The grounds of the apartment are lovely and were blooming beautifully while we were there for our spring break; my daughter enjoyed spending time in the hammock and playing with the owner's sweet little kitty who visited daily. And, as a side note, my daughter talked with the owner often while he was working in the garden, and he was very kind to her, which made me happy because she can be quite gregarious and talkative. I loved this place and truly had a wonderful time with my daughter, making the apartment our home base as we explored Asheville and the surrounding areas -- including the Pisgah National Forest and Hickory Nut Gap farm. The apartment is just phenomenal - it really is a no-brainer to stay here, and I would certainly want to rent from Amanda and her husband again.
Cannot stress enough how great this place is. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very cozy. Close to anything and everything you would want to do around Asheville. Hosts were extremely helpful and also very courteous of our privacy. All in all a 10/10 experience.

The apartment was great! It matched the description and was nice and quiet but a quick drive into downtown Asheville. It was a nice play for my cyclist partner to get to the mountains from, and I enjoyed jogging around the neighborhood. The hosts definitely let you have your privacy while simultaneously being very accessible. The apartment itself is nice, a cozy little space with a super comfy bed, couches, and nice tub. The kitchen was nice too. An added bonus was the super friendly kitty who was often wandering outside. If we come back to Asheville we'd definitely stay here again.
What an amazing getaway! Long story short, this trip took place a year after it was supposed to, and Amanda was very accommodating. The apartment is cute as can be, clean, and convenient to everything. We loved our stay and would love to come back again!
Amanda's place was wonderful! Easy to find and easy to access- everything is so new, clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great, beds were comfortable and it was in a very quiet area, so we slept soundly. We will be back!
My girlfriend and I have yet to be dissatisfied with Airbnb, and our stay at Amanda's was no exception. This has been one of our favorite stays thus far. The above-garage apartment exceeded our expectations, and our host was phenomenal. Given our stay was during the Valentine weekend, Amanda coordinated with my girlfriend to have flowers in the apartment when we arrived. As if that wasn't wonderful enough, she even picked up the bouquet for her, rather than having to deal with delivery fees! All in all, the decor of the apartment was tasteful, cozy, and we were well accommodated. Would love to stay again.

My husband and I moved to Asheville from Chicago in December of 2010. Can't live without live music, records, gettaways and our tent. We love Airbnb and all the unique spaces we have found to stay using this site, including a barn in West Virginia and a treehouse in Santa Cruz! Hope we see you soon!
