Cabo Pulmo is famous for its coral reef with world-class scuba diving & snorkeling. There are many beaches nearby, most of them are practically deserted. Other activities include kayaking and whale watching. Although Cabo Pulmo is located in the Cabo Pulmo Marine Reserve where fishing is not allowed, fishing trips can be arranged nearby.

Cabo Pulmo is mostly made up of vacation homes. There is lots to do here if you love ocean activities, and several restaurants, but almost no stores. You'll have to shop for groceries before you get here. Most people rent a car to get here because there is no public transportation into the village. Check In
  • Beautiful garden full of birds and little trails a great relaxing setting, Directly across the street was a small resturaunt, great friendly people. THe Artistic design of the casita was unique, a special place.

  • A wonderful casita facing a desert garden with birds and butterflies. There were lots of extras in the kitchen, a good selection of towels, and a comfortable bed. It was really nice to sleep at night with most of the windows open because they were screened. Karl was helpful. We got into some interesting discussions about his time in northern Canada. We will visit again. A good break during 6 weeks of timeshare near San Jose.

We came into Cabo Pulmo from the north, then went south to return to San Jose. The East Cape road was graded from Cabo Pulmo south to the cross road but south from there to San Jose was slow and interesting. We were in a used car rental from BBB.

  • Lovely quiet spot, beautifully decorated and kept up.
Loved the sunset and star views from the terrace of the main house (no one there during our stay). A new Cabo Pulmo favorite for us. Thanks!

  • La Casita was everything and more that we could have asked for: beautifully built and maintained, super clean, private, quiet and very comfortable. Not the kind of place for careless travelers: if you appreciate a unique experience, this is the place!

  • The ideal space for one or two people wanting quite, beautiful garden time with all the birds that visit! Every detail of my stay was
better than I´d imagined possible. Wonderful and accomodating hosts, fantastic and practically private beaches, a lovely community
of locals. I highly recommend this casita!! I´ll visit again myself, for sure.

We love Baja California, and especially Cabo Pulmo, because it's quiet, relaxing, and way off the beaten path. The water is warm, the surf is excellent, scuba diving is extraordinary, the food is outstanding, and the people are friendly. This little casita is on a larger property that is our dream house, our someday retirement house. We both work in agriculture. Scott is manager of a vegetable seed production company and I do organic inspections. We live in Chile at the moment, but are looking forward to coming back to Baja. We have a wonderful couple, Karl and Kimmie, who will welcome you to the casita and make sure you have everything you need and all your questions are answered. And don't worry if you don't speak Spanish...they are from the US and speak perfect English!
