LEED Luxury Apartment, The Pearl,NW

Apartment - Entire home/apt · SW 13th Ave, Portland, OR 97205, United States

The Space

If you're working in Portland, or are just looking to enjoy the holidays, it's time to live in the heart of the city. Located in the Pearl District, The Indigo @ 12 West is a LEED platinum building that has a strong and vibrant community fostered through regular free wine-tastings and events in one of the many community spaces.

During the cold and drizzly winter this energy efficient building lets in a lot of light and has spectacular views of the West Hills & changing fall colors. You can also relax in front of one of several penthouse rooftop fireplaces open to the community, or in front of the Theater Style screen for a movie. If you don't feel like going for a run in the rain, there's also a fitness center (to work off those holiday meals!). And finally, to combat the cold weather, free organic coffee is served in the lobby every morning.

This apartment has unobstructed views of the city & West Hills from floor to ceiling windows, a beautiful Juliet balcony and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.

The apartment offers an active urban experience with close access to Forest Park and 40+ miles of trails.

This is the LEAST EXPENSIVE option for a fully furnished luxury apartment in the Pearl District and will go very quickly!

APARTMENT LAYOUT:
It is not well pictured, but across from the kitchen is a bedroom and closet. It is separated by a thick grey velvet curtain, and essentially makes this a one-bedroom without a door. It has a luxurious queen bed with feather pillows, down comforter and feather-top bed.

PUBLIC TRANSIT / WALKABILITY:

Local transport is easy, you are sandwiched between 3 out of 4 rail lines and several major bus routes. Plus the building has a zip car in the garage, so if you want to get out of the city, you can rent it by the (email hidden). However, it's extremely walkable, so I rarely find a need for transit or car, unless I want to go hiking. I have to say that it is, hands down, the best location in town.

  • It really is a fabulous place. Holly was wonderful to deal with, and she keeps a lovely home.
There's not much else to say; I loved it.

  • Holly was great. Really responsive and her place was beautiful, clean and easy to access. I would definitely consider it again when I am in Portland again!

    December 2013
  • Stayed 5 weeks in Holly's apartment this summer. Great alcove studio that is cool, clean, and comfortable. Also quiet - I am pretty noise sensitive, and had no issues. The building is hip and very well run, with 24-hour concierge/doorman. The location is absolutely ideal; I rarely took my car out of the garage on the days that I wasn't working, as the Pearl, Northwest, and Downtown are all around you. [I paid for monthly parking in the secure lot beneath the building.] Powell's and Whole Foods are across the street, and there are some great eateries in the building itself (Lardo, Blue Star). Probably my only complaint is that there was no TV (so I brought my mini-projector, and streamed from my laptop). But it was overall a 5-star experience and I would absolutely stay there again!
