Come have a fun and relaxing vacation at our beachfront little get-away on the Isle of Palms, Charleston, SC!! Wake up in an oceanfront condominium on one of South Carolina's most beautiful beaches. Beautiful sunrise and an awesome sunset, dolphins out front in the surf. You can view all of this while keeping an eye on the (older) kids in the pool, all from the comfort of the living room, kitchen, or balcony.

Located in the heart of Isle of Palms, this cozy condo is perfectly positioned. You are just steps from the beach and in 2 blocks walking distance to the island's best restaurants, shops, and park just enough distance to Not have the noise factor from the nightlife. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand, private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment. 4 adults max. 2 adults may have up to 3 children. The condo is 500 sq ft, so The BR is Small, with just enough space for queen bed and 2 small side tables, plus dresser and closet. (All Sea Cabins have same floor plan and sq footage.)
IOP, Isle of Palms, is a barrier island suburb of Charleston. You are only ten miles from the Historic District of Downtown Charleston, where you can shop at the Old Market. Take in the charm of this beautiful and historic town and learn more about Charleston on a horse-drawn carriage ride, or tour Charleston Bay and Fort Sumter by boat. South Carolina Aquarium, world class restaurants and shopping, live theater, live music, museums, and more.
*All condominiums and sea cabins are not in the same condition! Some of the condominiums and sea cabins have not been updated in many years and are not as nice and allergy-free as this unit. Ceiling and walls have all been replaced with smooth, mold-free sheetrock, new flooring and cabinets. This attractive condo, decorated in a tropical motif, is situated on the second floor of the center "B" building, at the end, where your bedroom shares no neighboring wall or noise. The balcony affords unobstructed panoramic ocean views of the ocean, as we are in the middle bldg facing straight out (the 2 others angle in). This view is also shared from LR and kitchen. There are no elevators. The first floor has limited view, and our 2nd floor view is as great as 3rd without so much climbing. The sunset is very nice over the entrance/ back porch area. Being an end unit gives us a bit larger balcony and a small space as back porch which the others don't have.
PRIVACY! This condo also offers individual privacy. The hall with built-in bunk beds closes off to be its own private room for smaller guests with a nightlight and air/white noise machine available. The adults can then go back and forth from balcony/LR/kitchen to BR thru the seperate batroom door without waking the kids. The sleeper sofa adds extra sleeping as needed, and is super comfy with back pillows off as an overlarge twin if just 1 person uses it to sleep. 13.5% SC Accommodations tax is included in your quote (Airbnb pays the 9.5% State/ I pay the 4% county)

We keep a few beach chairs & mats, a small/med cooler, and a some beach toys for guests to use. I also have info for a service that will set you up with wood and canvas loungers and umbrellas each morn.
You are a block from the Banana Cabana, the One Eyed Parrot, Long Island Cafe, Coconut Joe's, and many great restaurants. The world famous Windjammer beach bar offers up nightly entertainment, and Mainland Container Kitchen & Bar in Mt. Pleasant has great atmosphere, food, and mingling- check their site for live music. While enjoying the Island Life, you can go swimming, body surfing, play volleyball, dine at oceanfront restaurants, bike the beaches, jog, cruise the intercoastal waterway, sail, surf, windsurf, take in some live music, shop the boutiques. Check out the scuba diving or go deep sea fishing. Relax at a spa or try horseback riding. Kayak, parasail, water-ski, fish, go "Crabin or Shrimpin," walk the beach for shells, take a sunset cruise, charter a small boat, explore uninhabited islands, play some of the South's finest golf courses.

There are security personnel on site to ensure safety, as well as parking, beach, pool, and pier access privleges. Bikes, chairs, and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment and post office are a very short walk.
Amenities: central air/heat, cable TV in LR and BR, CD player, DVD player, VCR, hair dryer, full kitchen (including spice selection and plenty of cookware), microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, new counter tops and cabinets, coffee maker and filters, linens included. Tennis court (short walk from condo across the street by realty company (tennis court for condominium guests only,) Washer and dryer (coin operated on premises), pool, no smoking, NO PETs, private chef service avail. Activities (on site or nearby): Tennis courts and pool on site, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, fishing pier, shopping, restaurants, live theater, cinemas, museums, plantations ,sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling/diving, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, shelling.
(Please note- We provide Start-up paper goods, soaps, etc, plus spices and cooking extras. Also, guests here strip bedsheets ONLY before departure.and leave on BR floor, clean dishes (running in dishwasher ), and leave used towels in bathtub. We will always have some linens that get suntan oil/accelorator/ shaving nick stained after 1st/2nd use, but buy 4+ new sets a year per bed/sofabed, and cannot do new ones every stay. Some guests prefer to bring their own for maximum comfort.
There is 1 small locked owner closet, and the rest of the condo is yours, as well as access to pool, pier, and private beach boardwalk.

As much or little as they prefer : ) We live 5 miles away.
Other things to note
Summer rentals are high season. Fall/ Winter/ Spring rates are lower. We are happy to provide linens, including 2 bath towels/1 washcloth per person/ 2 hand towels, and 2-3 beach/cabana towels, bath mats, and all bed linens at no extra charge, with the understanding that we use 100% cotton 300+ count and so will always have some linens that get suntan oil/accelerator/ shaving nick spot stained after 1st/2nd use. We toss any with large stains, but occasionally with 8+ loads after guests, a towel/sheet slips by with accelerator stain that gets darker with time and washing.
We buy 4+ new sets a year of 100% cotton, and rotate those to have fresh on hand for cleanings, but cannot do new ones every stay and be reasonably priced. Some guests prefer to bring their own for maximum comfort. When guests used the outside linen service in the past, they got 50/50 poly/cotton very cheap sheets/towels, and were unhappy. Our linens are carefully, fully laundered.
We also provide a limited amount of start-up paper goods, soaps, etc. This is a storage space issue, not $
It is standard practice to have guests empty trash, as they may have stinky stuff (diapers, seafood shells...) which permeates the place when not cleaned for hours, or occasionally the next day.

- Charleston has a Noise Ordinance: 10pm weeknights; 11pm weekends. (Bring the fun inside and keep windows and doors closed, and the bass turned down : )
-Any gatherings over 6 people must be specifically approved.

-Persons under 21 years of age may not consume alcohol on premises.
-Close windows and doors when operating Air/Heat; also when leaving
condo to protect from sudden rain storms which are common in this climate.
-NO SMOKING in condo AT ALL; take it outdoors, please. Please close door when smoking on balcony/entry porch, or it goes right inside. Please blow your smoke towards outside to minimize any going inside. CIGARETTE BUTTS/ASHES ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. DO NOT THROW OVER RAILINGS. DISPOSE OF ALL CIG BUTTS.
-Do NOT move furniture. Make sure to move anything back if you must.
-Take out trash, and leave dishwasher running, but not dirty kitchenware about.
- Leave 1 key on counter, and 1 in keybox.
-Trash dumpster is located at far end of parking lot. Trash is your responsibility! Empty again upon departure
