The apartment is on the first floor of a building constructed between the late 800 and early 900 near Piazza S. Giovanni in (email hidden)e frame is immersed in history when the visitor is unique in that the building, located in Rione Monti, Via Matteo Boiardo, there is a short distance from the Colosseum, globally recognized attraction that shows the remains of an ancient city, true air museumopened, which, beyond history, offers the most romantic sunsets that only this city can offer
In fact, the square next to the apartment is surrounded by the ancient Aurelian Walls of the City (like Rome in imperial times it was called) and dominated by the imposing beauty of the homonymous Basilica, during the years of the "sweet life Roman", was alsoframe of the finest films of the time.
The neighborhood of San Giovanni is the city, a point of reference for the symbolic importance of the homonym Basilica and reconnected to the "Scala Santa", both for the centrality of the zone which, not surprisingly, is the seat of the Apostolic Vicariate of Rome and the Pontifical Lateran University
How would the art for the first 900 buildings, the apartment has about 60 cm thick external walls. which ensure a constant internal environment of premises in line with the passing of the seasons. However the house, fully renovated, is equipped with heating, and each room of the house is heated in order to satisfy the temperature requirements of each guest.
The whole apartment, separated by a large central living room is enhanced with a light oak parquet, which married perfectly with the ceiling "barrel" maintained the original structure, the walls create a bright and clear and simple environment relaxed functional and suitable to spend a well deserved rest after visiting the city.
Both rooms have been designed in compliance with the comfort and privacy of guests and therefore are placed at both ends of the house and equipped with every comfort necessary, among which perfectly restored antique cabinets and safes useful.
The quality of the materials used for the two bathrooms in the house reflect the elegance and functionality to environments necessary for the share We are sure the tub will be an irresistible pleasure, at the end of a long day exploring the magnificent city of Rome.
The room is in such a great location for exploring the city by foot. Also there are tons of great restaurants within about two minutes walking! The WiFi didn't work the day we arrived, but we were brought a hotspot which took care of that. The shower was only warm for about 3-5 minutes, so we had to have one of us shower at night and one in the morning, and be as quick as possible still. Overall I would stay here again.
We had a lovely time in Rome and the apartment's location was very central to everything! There was a small problem with hot water but Valentyna and Natalia were very quick to respond.
Veranda meravigliosa.
Sicuramente da consigliare.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My wife and i both enjoyed our stay here in Rome. The elderly lady that showed us the place was very kind and friendly, though it should be mentioned that she spoke very little English (i speak Italian, so it wasnt an issue.
Place was very close to the Vatican, and nicely decorated. Bathroom was small, as is very common in the places we saw, but it fit our needs very well. I would recommend it.
We spent a unforgettable week at Residenza Riboti! Apartment was wonderful, very cozy and cute. The area is very quiet and safe, full of facilities: supermarket is across the street, many bars and restaurants are nereby. Vatican and metro stations are easy accessible on foot. Valentina is very hospitable and thoughtful person. Many, many thanks for hospitality and kind regards!
Great location in Rome. We stayed for 5 nights, didn't use public transport once, so easy to walk everywhere!
Quite a lovely little apartment, bed comfortable, basic kitchen, small bathroom (very common in Europe!) & very homely feel. Bonus - washer & clothes horse!
This place is just magical. The location could not be better. Two minutes walk to the two thousand year old Pantheon. An amazing restaurant on the same street.
We felt very safe here and the apartment is lovely. It is small but everywhere is small in Rome.
Natalia the housekeeper bent over backwards to accommodate us and answer any questions. We will return here and we will recommend this apartment to all friends and family.
Really pretty apartment, but not private at all. The people who own the place live "next door", which is really just a few metres away, across the small courtyard. The door between our place and theirs was not lockable, and because the windows were always open (the weather was hot) we could see and hear our hosts (and be seen and heard by them) almost anywhere in the apartment.
I'm not quite sure what relationship Valentyna has with the owners, but she never responded to our request of balcony pictures, never acknowledged our message trying to set a time to pick up keys, and didn't show up to let us in. (Luckily our host happened to be leaving, and showed us up to the apartment.) She also wrongly and confusingly emailed us about a different apartment.
That being said, the people who own the apartment were extremely kind and sweet and accommodating. I can't say enough nice things about them. I wish I could have dealt directly with them. Things would surely have gone more smoothly.
