Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • I loved this apartment! I relocated to NYC for a job and needed a temporary place to stay while I looked for my permanent home. The location is fantastic- near multiple subway lines and lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The laundry across the street is fast and cheap, and Central Park is literally half a block away. The apartment was spacious, clean, and the backyard was an added bonus. Brian was thoughtful, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommended!

  • The apartment is great. It is close to everything. Our stay was pleasant. Certainly, we will use the services of Airbnb on other occasions. Thanks.

  • We had a great stay at this apartment. Very close to subways and lots of
    places to eat out.
We enjoyed being out of Times square and felt like we were living like a real New Yorker!
Very comfortable and plenty of space for a family of 4!
    Thanks Brian

  • This was a perfect location for my family and I during our 10 day visit to New York. Location is perfect for a family, with the park just a block away, and a subway stop just around the corner. Plenty of restaurants and stores close by as well.
The apartment was clean, if a bit dated. But beat the heck out of a hotel!

    Thanks Brian!

  • Brian saved us when our original host cancelled the day before our arrival. Air BnB Match put us together. He explained that the place needed some maintenance work as a long-term tenant had just left, but it was in pretty good shape. The work didn't get done in the week we were there, but that was fine with us. It is dated in a lot of ways, but comfortable. He even bought an air mattress so our teenage daughters wouldn't have to share a bed.

The location is excellent, around the corner from the Museum of Natural History and street life on Columbus Avenue (B & C trains), and Brian was available if we had needed him. It was the garden that sold us. Rain kept us from using it every day, but it was great when we could use it.

    I'd stay again.

  • My mother, 2 sisters and I stayed in the garden apartment Jan 3-6th. The location is excellent, 1 block from the Natural History Museum and 1/2 a block from Central Park. The apartment was very quiet and a good size for us. My mother had the bedroom and my sisters & I had the pull out couch and air mattress. The backyard is fantastic & so rare for the city.
Brian allowed us an early check in & late check out which really helped all members of our family arrive & depart at various times to return to the plane & train. Brian was on time to meet us with the key and to pick up the key at the end of our stay. We had 1 issue in the apartment which he fixed right away.

  • We had a terrific time in Brian's apartment. We were four adults and everyone had enough space and beds. The apartment is well located. It's near a subway entrance and various pharmacies, restaurants and stores. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Please note that this is an old apartment, so there is a bit of wear and tear. Overall we were satisfied with our choice!

  • My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Brian's apartment. The location was fabulous, the apartment is very well equipped and spacious. Brian was helpful and accommodating,(my husband ended up staying an extra night), and we would definitely like to return next time we are in the city.
