Wayan, Ayu and their two sons hosted us for 12 days at their beautiful home. We had a clean, comfortable room with two fans and a hot shower. It cools down at night and is good for sleeping. The animals next door can be loud, so earplugs are recommended. The food was delicious and Ayu cooked anytime we were hungry. Drivers were available to take us on tours or just to Ubud for the day. The family speaks great English and were warm and friendly with many stories and helpful information. We were lucky to stay with them over Nypie and they provided us with traditional clothes to attend ceremonies and the purification ceremony at the ocean. We felt like we got an authentic, yet pampered, experience of Bali. We even got to learn how to handcarve wood with the local hindu priest as our teacher. Their son took us biking (they provide free bikes) to the nearby monkey temple and swimming hole. We enjoyed the waterfall and rice fields of the Central Mountain tour and the Mount Batur sunrise hike. The property is covered in gorgeous flowers and foliage. You can even pick a banana off the tree for a snack. Breakfast is provided and fruit, tea and coffee are readily available. We felt well taken care of and like family during our stay.
My partner and I have just returned home from 7 nights in Bali - 5 of those nights were spent at Cozy Wayan Sueta B & B and we could easily have spent all 7 nights there and more! This family open their home and their hearts to their guests, sharing their wonderful culture, food and extended village within comfortable, well appointed and tranquil surrounds.
We ventured out from the village each day, via one of the team of reliable and knowledgable drivers that are on hand. We climbed Mt Batur one morning, visited a beautiful waterfall one afternoon. Shopped til we dropped in Ubud for a morning and booked into a spa for indulgence on another day. We found no matter where we went we looked forward to returning to our 'home' in Abiensemal. A sunrise walk through the surrounding rice paddies is a must.
We didn't find food in Ubud that beat the excellent home cooking Ayu provided. She's a beautiful, warm host who effortlessly coordinates drivers, meals, outings, laundry, bookings - really, any guest requests.
We highly recommend the local masseuse who will come to your villa and provide an in-room, or on-deck massage. It was a wonderful way to wind down after a day of touring.
Ayu and Wayan - thank you for opening your home and hearts to us, you've truly created a treasure in Bali for those lucky enough to stay with you.

Wayan and his wife, Ayu, are fabulous hosts - very warm and accommodating. They make you feel like part of their family. Aju is a fantastic cook - her dinners were so delicious and enjoyable! And, it was great fun to meet and talk with the other guests at dinner. Wayan made driving arrangements for me and even transported me to a cooking class one morning on his scooter. The room was very nice - no AC but the ceiling fan is sufficient as the night air is cool. I loved the outdoor shower. The grounds were beautiful. I highly recommend staying here - outside of Ubud in the gorgeous countryside.
Best place I have ever stayed, ever! Wayan and Ayu are the best hosts, they make everything so easy and are truly beautiful sweet people who want to share their lives and culture with you. Also, Ayu is the best cook, her food is by far the best food we had on our trip, we never wanted to eat anywhere else. If you go anywhere in Bali, this is the place to stay!
Cozy Sueta is a wonderful place, thoroughly professional yet homely, incredibly clean, comfortable accommodation, lovely atmosphere. Wayan's gardens are amazing, and his passion for them is lovely to see. Ayu's cooking is, as everyone says, out of this world; some of the best that we've had in Bali, and that is saying something! Their hospitality is great. Only recommendation is to check the prices of activities before you accept invitations, just to avoid surprises at check-out. Enjoy!
Perfect accommodation on the family property in an almost tourist free rural area near Ubud. One of the best beds we had in a good looking apartment in a beautiful garden. Nice place to calm down and enjoy real Bali atmosphere. Hosts are very willing to help you in your trip planning and explain the Bali life style. They can also provide diner (among the best we had in Bali), scooter rental and several trips with either themselves or others as the tour guide.
We are so glad to have stayed at Wayan and Ayu's. After touring the busy ubud, we come back to a quiet and cozy Bali home, had delicious meal Ayu cooked for us. The bungalow is amazing, with a patio and outdoor shower. Next morning, we followed the family dog to the rice field & nearby village. Ayu also took us on a guided tour to the temples, she told us all about the Balinese customs and histories. She gave us the wonderful Bali experience!
My daughter and I stayed at Wayan Sueta's B&B and it was wonderful. Although we only stayed two nights, we were happy to get out of crowded Ubud. Ayu (Wayan's wife) was available and very helpful and an amazing cook!. Although, we had very little contact with Wayan; he was very efficient and organized and arranged transportation and outings for us with wonderful drivers.
I would highly recommend staying here for a true Balinese experience.

Wayan and Ayu are the perfect hosts and made our Christmas in. Bali a memorable one. Ayu and family cooked a delicious banquets of local Balinese food for Christmas eve and we all felt like one big family, even dressing up in Balinese dress.
Our cozy little bungalow is clean and comfortable with an awesome outdoor shower. The eating area where we had a lovely home made breakfast is just great.
It was a great change to be in a local village away from the hustle and bustle. We can highly recommend Made as a a driver who is more than happy to take you on a tour of the surrounding areas including monkey forest and Holy waters.
