About this listing
Rockville House is a quiet B & B located in the heart of historic Cashel, the City of Kings. This well-kept home is conveniently located less than a five minute walk from the famous Rock of Cashel, an ancient fortress that was once the seat of Munster.
Our B & B has been operating for three generations. We take great pride in offering immaculate ensuite rooms and a fresh cooked Irish breakfast in a lovely antique-laden dining room. Secure parking and Internet wi-fi is available on site. Large groups can be accommodated. Local shops, restaurants and the tourist centre are within a few minutes walking distance.
A warm Irish welcome awaits you in one of the most picturesque towns on the Emerald Isle. Enjoy the hospitality of your host, Patrick, who will entertain you with stories and good ":craic" (the Irish word for good fun!) We offer the most competitive rates in the area. Compare and see! We invite you to join us by the fire at Rockville House and experience why we love what we do.
Patrick est un bout-en-train qui se démène pour la satisfaction de ses hôtes. Chambres très propres et bien situées.
Delightful place to stay! Patrick was so accommodating and able to even get me in a day early. Wonderful breakfast and visits.
Patrick was a wonderful host full of knowledge and humor. His home was perfectly placed in Cashel and was cozy and inviting. No complaints. He and his home were the perfect way to start our trip in Ireland. Highly recommended.
Great location and close to everything. Patrick is a funny host. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't available in our room and the TV also didn't work. The beds were comfortable though and the rooms were clean.
Patrick was a really lovely and funny host!
The room was clean and very comfortable. We walked about 5 minutes to the Rock of Cashel and everything was near by.
Really nice stay in Cashel!!
We arrived after landing in Dublin and driving down to Cashel in the evening on little sleep. Patrick welcomed us in, showed us the basics and then left us to get some sleep. Our room was comfortable and roomy, and had everything we needed to get going the next morning. Patrick was very knowledgeable about the area and the history of it too, and explained the scaffolding around the rock fortress. We would definately recommend this as a place to stay after getting off a long flight. Breakfast was wonderful, and I still think Patrick can read minds when it comes to predicting how they want their eggs done. Mine were perfect, and so were my husband's!
Our room was great - downstairs and separate from other rooms. We parked car securely and didn't move it until we left because of close proximity to everything. Great breakfast provided. Patrick is a convivial host and we enjoyed our stay.

About the Host, Patrick
I'm a local fellow who has helped my family operate our B&B for over two decades. Having been born and reared in Cashel, I know the area well. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing this lovely part of Ireland with them.
Overall, I am easygoing and best of all, go for the craic, as we say--having fun! I can be serious, but also appreciate making people laugh. Operating a B & B allows me to unleash my Irish humor on guests who may have only been expecting a clean room and hot breakfast! I'd like to think that my guests leave Cashel with a little more than they bargained for -- some authentic Irish hospitality and a few smiles to carry them along their journey.
