About this listing
Rockville House is a quiet B & B located in the heart of historic Cashel, the City of Kings. This well-kept home is conveniently located less than a five minute walk from the famous Rock of Cashel, an ancient fortress that was once the seat of Munster.
Our B & B has been operating for three generations. We take great pride in offering immaculate ensuite rooms and a fresh cooked Irish breakfast in a lovely antique-laden dining room. Secure parking and Internet wi-fi is available on site. Large groups can be accommodated. Local shops, restaurants and the tourist centre are within a few minutes walking distance.
A warm Irish welcome awaits you in one of the most picturesque towns on the Emerald Isle. Enjoy the hospitality of your host, Patrick, who will entertain you with stories and good ":craic" (the Irish word for good fun!) We offer the most competitive rates in the area. Compare and see! We invite you to join us by the fire at Rockville House and experience why we love what we do.
Patrick was a very fine host. The accommodations were nice and close to the castle and downtown. The breakfast was good and well presented. We enjoyed our stay there.
Patrick's b&b is really charming and the location really can't be beat. The breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed chatting with fellow travelers. Thanks Patrick!
This is a very nice bed and breakfast right in the center of Cashel. Patrick is a friendly host with a ready sense of humor. Everything was clean and decorated in a classic style very suitable to an old, historical setting.
We loved that we could walk to the rock and other sights in town very easily. Highly recommended!
My time spent at Patrick's was exceptional. His home is welcoming and room comfortable and of course the breakfasts are delicious and bountiful. Patrick's wit and charm make his place the best place to stay while in Cashel. For me, Cashel opened doors into a magical kingdom... one I'll be visiting again.... and I plan to return to "the best located B& B in Tipperary"!
If your looking for a spacious area for a group the Stables are ideal, although the single room is really a store room not suitable for a bedroom, way too much furniture in there. Great breakfast & fantastic coffee. Patrick is an interesting personality you can't take him too seriously. B&B perfectly situated to walk to the local pubs and to the main attraction The Rock of Cashel.
What a beautiful guest house this was. Patrick met us as we arrived and showed us to the immaculate guest room. It was tiny but very clean and well appointed. The walk to the Rock of Cashel took less than 5 minutes. As we drove into the town I felt so comfortable; it was a place that I would have liked to stay and rest for a few evenings. Little hustle and bustle yet we had a lovely dinner at a local hotel. Breakfast was served by Patrick in the morning and was quite good. Eggs, cereal, bread, coffee, tea, yogurt. A full assortment. It was apparent that this B&B was not only a guest house but a home as well. 5 stars all the way around.

About the Host, Patrick
I'm a local fellow who has helped my family operate our B&B for over two decades. Having been born and reared in Cashel, I know the area well. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing this lovely part of Ireland with them.
Overall, I am easygoing and best of all, go for the craic, as we say--having fun! I can be serious, but also appreciate making people laugh. Operating a B & B allows me to unleash my Irish humor on guests who may have only been expecting a clean room and hot breakfast! I'd like to think that my guests leave Cashel with a little more than they bargained for -- some authentic Irish hospitality and a few smiles to carry them along their journey.
