Rockville House is a quiet B & B located in the heart of historic Cashel, the City of Kings. This well-kept home is conveniently located less than a five minute walk from the famous Rock of Cashel, an ancient fortress that was once the seat of Munster.
Our B & B has been operating for three generations. We take great pride in offering immaculate ensuite rooms and a fresh cooked Irish breakfast in a lovely antique-laden dining room. Secure parking and Internet wi-fi is available on site. Large groups can be accommodated. Local shops, restaurants and the tourist centre are within a few minutes walking distance.
A warm Irish welcome awaits you in one of the most picturesque towns on the Emerald Isle. Enjoy the hospitality of your host, Patrick, who will entertain you with stories and good ":craic" (the Irish word for good fun!) We offer the most competitive rates in the area. Compare and see! We invite you to join us by the fire at Rockville House and experience why we love what we do.
We enjoyed our stay at Patrick's place for one night. He prepared a great breakfast and was accommodating. The house was clean and tidy. We arrived in the afternoon when he was out, but we were able to park the car and walk around Cashel easily. He gave us a dinner suggestion which worked well. Cashel is easy to navigate in foot from his home.
Great time at Patricks place! It was so close to the Rock of Cashel, right at the bottom of the hill! Patrick went above and beyond to make me comfortable. The breakfast was grand and he was alwayd available for question. Truly enjoyed staying here!
Patrick is a great host. A real professional. Also, a very funny man. The bnb is about a 2 minute walk from anything you want to do in Cashel.
The room was spacious, clean, great.
The breakfast was excellent. A great Irish breakfast. Just what I needed after a night out in Cashel.
This was a lovely B&B. Though patrick was out of town when I arrived the person that he had replace him was wonderful anf very very courteous. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast was well done. I met patrick the next day before I left and he seems like a genuinely good host.
The accommodations were well fitted and the B&B was well located to sightseeing.
Patrick made us feel very welcome! We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the sitting room in the evening. Breakfast was good and with plenty to eat. The bedroom was very comfortable. Patrick gave us contact information for private drivers so we could travel to an area not covered by bus or train. We would definitely stay at this location again and recommend Patrick's B&B.
We loved staying at the Rockville House B&B. Patrick was a gracious host, and hilarious to boot! I had noticed other people mentioning his humor in their reviews, and was drawn to the place because of that. It was so true. :) He made us laugh a lot which made our stay that much more enjoyable! We had a lovely room with a view of the Rock of Cashel, and it was within walking distance of it. Thank you, Patrick, for your hospitality and making us laugh! :)

I'm a local fellow who has helped my family operate our B&B for over two decades. Having been born and reared in Cashel, I know the area well. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing this lovely part of Ireland with them.
Overall, I am easygoing and best of all, go for the craic, as we say--having fun! I can be serious, but also appreciate making people laugh. Operating a B & B allows me to unleash my Irish humor on guests who may have only been expecting a clean room and hot breakfast! I'd like to think that my guests leave Cashel with a little more than they bargained for -- some authentic Irish hospitality and a few smiles to carry them along their journey.
