The loft is exactly as pictured and described, totally awesome. Large open space for a group of friends or a family to hang out comfortably, with privacy of two bedrooms. I was worried about sharing the one small bathroom but it worked out absolutely fine. The neighborhood is quiet and calm but in short walking distance to everything you need including the train into manhattan. There are several good restaurants in the neighborhood, as recommended by Matthew, who was a very welcoming host when I arrived late evening from Europe very tired. I would rent the loft again in a heartbeat.
We stayed at the loft as a family of 4 and absolutely loved it! It's unusually spacious for NY standards and very lovingly furnished. It is also perfectly located in the heart of Park Slope between the F and the R train, which take you to Manhattan in no time, not to mention all the nice original coffee shops and little restaurants you find just around the corner on 7th or 5th Ave. We immediately felt at home, both apartment- as well as neighborhood-wise and would especially like to thank Matthew for his openness, kind help and easy communication. We had a Brooklyn blast!
Great spot- big open space, nice design, good location- would love to go back and stay there again
This loft was amazing! It is an incredibly spacious apartment with a lot of character. We had five people staying there and it slept us comfortably with the use of the couch. It was family from all parts of the world, so we really enjoyed being able to use the kitchen and their banquet style table for a meal. But they are also in a great neighborhood full of restaurants and bars if you feel like going out. Matthew was a very accommodating host and was always available by text if we had any questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment, thanks Matthew!
Awesome stay at this Brooklyn gem! This place is a bit of a sleeper. The apartment sits among beautiful brownstones in prime location in Park Slope. The exterior might throw you off a bit as it's a roll up garage door with an industrial type front door. But, don't be fooled, the inside is awesome! Super spacious interior with tons of character. Great kitchen if you're up for cooking, nice entertainment center if you want to place some tunes and HUGE kitchen table for gathering around. We had an absolute blast here. Super close to the trains - you can get anywhere quick from this location. Matt was very gracious and a good guy all around. My wife and I and another couple stayed here and we hope to get back soon!!!
Stayed with family with three kids aged 7, 5 and 1. Apartment worked really well for us. Lots of space, and kitchen well suited and equipped for cooking. No crib, but that was easily rented (multiple companies in the city will rent you one, with delivery to the apartment).
High ceilings and lots of character. In the words of our 5-year old, referring to the industrial-looking exterior: "It's not so nice on the outside, but it's very nice on the inside."
Very warm welcome, everything clean and furnished with love. Lots of space except there was onely one bathroom which is not so optimal when you are a group of 4. Everything else quite nice, interesting neighbourhood, good infrastructure and local transport connection. We had a very nice stay, thanks!
Great, unique space close to restaurants and subway access. I came here on business but I'll come back with the family!
Matt and Michelle's place was exactly as described. Super comfortable beds, wide open spaces and a great kitchen to hang out in (with a cute nook for early morning breakfasts). They were very communicative for our whole stay and also worked with us around our arrival time. Great value and super location!
I highly recommend them!!!
